Not happy that you cannot get over ten ounces without the k.mug pod. The k.mug pod costs twice as much as the k.cup. We don't like strong coffee and the k.cup has been working great on our old Keurig in mugs. Just a way to make you spend more...thinking about sending it back. We have had Keurig for years, not happy in NC. Need an override on ounce size.

the cup sizes seam to be small, smaller, extra small and sip. we bought the platinum mostly for the travel mug setting. although its not a big deal, it is annoying to reset the machine every time to finish filling the mug. my wife likes hot water for her own tea, but doesn't like having to press and hold for up to 6oz twice to fill mug, when getting ready to go to work in the morning, we don't want to hover over the coffee machine to finish making a mug of coffee or hot water. it's a good thing that we gave our platinum to a family member who didn't mind trading it back. i've written keurig support without a response and called support who basically said maybe the next generation will have what you're looking for. in the mean time, we'll continue to use the platinum until keruig can make a machine that's up to platinum programing standards

VERY disappointed with this machine. I've had Keurigs before, but the 2.0 model is awful. The 10 oz. setting does not fill a whole 10. oz. I drink a lot of tea, and this is bad. If I want hot water, for tea or anything else, I have to HOLD THE BUTTON IN, for the l-o-n-g drip process. Then, I only get a half cup, so I have to start the process all over, again, to fill up the rest of my cup. That's a LOT of button pushing/holding. I have better things to do!!

I recently replaced my last Keurig with this model. My last one finally broke after years of use and I enjoyed it enough to purchase another, but I am disappointed. I hoped that an upgrade would give me more brewing options. My beverages never brew as hot as I prefer them . My hot tea or coffee cools to room temperature quickly resulting in a very unsatisfying drink. I usually end up spilling out the remaining half of my cup. It lacks temperature control, and that would certainly remedy the problem. I often have to brew twice with two Kcups as well to fill my cup. If I try to brew a larger cup with one Kcup and increase the brew strength to accommodate the larger size, the result is a bigger cup of beverage but the coffee becomes flavorless and watery. I enjoy tea too but there is no setting to brew tea longer for a richer flavor as well. There is no option to increase the size of a cup of tea either. I have resorted to using conventional teabags and boiled water for that now. I am not totally satisfied with this machine and would not purchase another until improvements ar made. For the price and model I expected more.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas THINKING it would be a great replacement for our original Keurig machine, BOY WAS I WRONG. Now it's a battle just to get the stupid machine to brew coffee. It will brew one cup then just quit, we've tried the "trouble shooting" technique of cleaning the needle but we have to stand in front of the machine for quite some time trying to get it to work. This product broke just one week after purchase. It stopped brewing coffee and the mechanism in the kcup injection area began leaking and dripping coffee/water out of the wrong places like the sides, etc. When it did work, it took 30 minutes to slow drop a 10-ounce cup of coffee. This product is an absolute failure. If I could give it negative stars, I would. Worst Keurig I've ever owned.

Didn't make it 1.5 years!

I've had this machine since my last one died (it died less than 30 days after the 1 year warranty ran out). First, it never would properly dispense plain hot water (you would have to press the button multiple times to get a cup of hot water...like for tea, etc.). Then, yesterday, it completely quit working...as in no display on screen at all, nothing. I called in this a.m. to find out what my options are. Since my 1 year warranty ran out on 9/5/15 (5.5 months ago), I have no option from them but buy another one. Since I have now had TWO Keurig brewers die before they saw their 2nd birthdays, I don't think these machines are made well. Sad, since I buy all my Kcups from this website, that they will be losing a repeat customer. We should not have to pay for a new brewer every year and a half (or less!)!!! NOT HAPPY AT ALL.
