This is our first Keurig, and we're hooked! It's really great. Even though it requires Keurig k cups, there are literally hundreds to choose from. A few minor complaints: (1) Maximum brew size is 10 Oz. (2) Why do we have to hold the button down to dispense hot water? (3) When will Vue packs be compatible? Disclosure: Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

Can't adjust drink temperature

The downsides are that you can't control the temperatures for the drinks like you can on previous models. I like my coffee hot! Also, the ability to produce just hot water is too limited. If they fixed these two things I would review it 5 stars.

Love that I can make both coffee and tea

We use it everyday. It replaced the Vue pot we had but we can't use the vue pods. Haven't figured out how to make a two step cup of coffee, latte.... Does make a good cup of coffee. Bought higher end to be able to do tea too. Works well for both.

I had always wanted to try a Keurig machine in my home. This 550 Brewer is the best looking yet. I love being able to fix a small pot, perfect for breakfast for, or an individual cup. The hot water feature makes cup of soup convenient, too. And the automatic features simplify my morning routine. This is also a very stylish, modern unit: it looks good on the cabinet. Changing the lighting is a nice touch - red, blue, green - whatever the holiday, the 550 goes with the decor. I look forward to having all my favorite K-cup gourmet blends converted to use with these new units. Keurig leads the way in convenience and excellence.
