Owned a B-60 and loved it. Died after 4 years. Cus-Serv said "Buy a new one", no advise. Bought 550. Carafe barely warm after leisurely 1st cup. Can't change default sizes. Can recycle only larger size pods, i.e. VUE or carafe. No AutoBrew for K-cups. No Favorites for K-cups The brew is a bit more flavorful, strong settings gives stronger brew but is very slow. Instead of building on the B-60, they discarded it completely and started from scratch. Having designed and built microcontroller systems for nearly 30 years I can recognize inexperienced programming and weak marketing input. A few lines of code would fix the unnecessary K-cup restrictions.The color screen and lights on the 4 and 500 series are useless gimmicks unnecessary for adults, the B/W screen is the same in design and usefulness. All of the above is a big disappointment, but I still think Keurig is the best bet in town. Too bad that there isn't a USB interface so the consumer could update the firmware. Oh, and saying the 550 has 10 select-able sizes is like saying you have 10 feet because each has 5 toes. My wife and I always brewed 11 oz cups. 10 feels small so we brew 2 6 oz cups from 1 K-cup. CusServe said the brewer would not do a used pod and that there were only 3 K-cup sizes. Glad they didn't know what they were talking about, but embarrassing for Keurig

Brewer worked great for 5 days then it quit brewing.Called support and walked through the steps to fix with paper clip and the cleaner that came with it. It worked once then had to clean again .2 cups later same thing. I keep getting the opps error with cups purchased from this site.I have wasted over 15 k-cups in this process.Its time to return and give up.

Got as a gift

Use to love keurig, however the 2.0 550, I got as a gift worked on carafe setting once. I called they ended up sending me a new machine. Guess what that worked twice. I called again they set me a new water holder and it worked once more. I gave up and just don't use that setting.

Great Coffee & No Mess

Replaced our 2 pot system and this works great for us. We both like different coffee's so the Keurig 2.0 fills the bill and it brews quickly and consistently. Great options to try new coffee, tea and now soup. Looks good on the counter as well.

I use daily and have not experienced any of the problems mentioned in the poor reviews. I was hesitant to get after reading the other reviews but trusted my gut as my Special Edition has lasted so well I even gave it away to get a new one. :)
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Durable, Large Pot, Easy to clean, Brews quickly, Easy to use
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot

I do love Keurig, however I think the carafe that comes with this model is useless. It wouldn't take long to brew four single-serve coffees and most people like different coffee anyway. Could have saved a few dollars and not had this feature. I don't like how I'm limited to a maximum of 6 ounces of hot water because then I have to use my tea kettle to make tea with a teabag, or top up a cold cup of coffee.
Pros: Nightlight Feature, Stylish, Different Colored Lights
Cons: Probably Never Use Carafe, Limited Hot Water

Great Brewer!

We auto set the brewer to come on every morning before we wake up so the water is preheated. It is a great brewer and we are really enjoying it. I like how you can adjust the ounces for larger cups of coffee and the strong feature. I have only had to clean and descale it once and that wasn't any trouble. Just ran some vinegar water through it and then a cleansing rinse and it was good to go. Can't think of any cons to be honest! "Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review".

Clock won't tell correct time

Purchased my Keurig coffee maker about a month ago and noticed that my clock on the coffee maker continually would display the wrong time. I would adjust the time and by the next day the time would be way off again (by many hours) Thought this would be a minor annoyance but now my auto-brew feature won't work because it'll brew the coffee at whatever strange time. Now my clock is blinking every time I turn my coffee maker on. Contacted customer service and they said "It's a problem we are aware of...We have many machines that are affected by this problem" That was all they could tell me. No solution, no fix, no replacement. Nothing. I spent a lot of money on this machine not to have it work perfectly. I've had a $20 Mr. Coffee that would tell the time perfectly with out skipping a beat for 12 years. I fear that while this machine brews good coffee it might be going back to the store.

Cons: Limited Features, Loud
