Love the carafe brew, Its perfect for two large to-go cups of coffee in the morning and is quick for a single cup when I get home. I love the timed setting so it cuts off at night while I am sleeping and is on and already preheated when I wake in the morning. Definitely energy efficient.

The Keurig 2.0 is a great brewing system for both casual coffee drinkers and die-hard coffee fans. The power-save feature is great for those looking to save money on their energy bill. Being able to program the brewer to turn on (and even brew) at a specific time ensures that the owner will always have fresh coffee exactly when they want it. The sleek design and variety of display and lighting options makes the K-550 very fashionable on any counter top. However, my favorite feature of the K550 is the option of being able to brew a 4-10oz cup or a carafe. A 12 oz cup option would be ideal, but that is only my personal preference in cup size. To sum things up, sometimes you just need a little extra coffee to get going, and the new Keurig 2.0, with carafe brewing capability, makes mornings a little bit easier and more enjoyable. We received this coffe maker as a gift for Christmas. Works great, especially since my wife can only drink decaf in the evenings and I normally drink regular coffee, this way we can make a cup of our own choosing without having to make an entire pot of coffee. Good variety of flavors to choose from and fast shipping from the Keurig web site. Also very pleased with how fast it brews a cup of coffee. The menu allows for a 4, 8 or 10 oz cup of of coffee, depending on your preference. Very easy to use, good storage capacity for the water tank, which is attached to the left side of the machine. The machine does not have to be turned off to refill the tank and a warning appears on the screen to let you know the water tank level is low. You can easily see the level but the warning is a nice feature and it can be disabled if you prefer. Also has the abilty to set an auto timer if you would like to wake up to a nice pot or cup of coffee, the included carafe works best with this feature. Thanks, Keurig, for the frees packs for this review. Really upset with the K-cups from other coffee producers not compatable with this machine. I like my Tim Horton's coffee and now I can't use this machine to make it.
