Excellent Brewer Despite DRM Restrictions

I use the keurig 2.0 every morning to brew my coffee for my work commute. The quality of the coffee produced is excellent, especially when the "strong" setting is used. I drink my coffee black, so I can detect the nuances of various coffees, and all of the keurig brand ones I have tried have been good thus far. My main gripe about the machine is the restrictions it places on the consumer. For one, only Keurig brand K cups can be used in the machine, otherwise it will not brew it. This usually is not an issue for me as I haven't had a need to get non branded k cups. The issue I have is with the size settings. There is no 12oz option, it only goes up to 10oz. This can be alleviated by brewing 2 times, but it is still a hassle I would rather not have to deal with. While the aforementioned restrictions detract from the usability of the product, it is still worth it to get the 2.0 model. It is a fairly quiet machine, and the speed at which it brews coffee is very convenient. Weak coffee is not an issue I have run into with the keurig, and the "strong" setting certainly can kick whatever coffee you have up a notch. The carafe included is a handy feature, and is good if your splitting coffee with one other person, but not much more than that. The k carafe packs are pretty big, ensuring that the coffee produced is not weak in taste. In fact, it tastes just as good as the k cup counterpart. TL;DR The keurig is an excellent brewing machine, and despite its DRM and size restrictions, is a worthy candidate for your next coffee brewer. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

Best Coffee Pot Ever

I absolutely love this coffee pot. I love that I can make a carafe in the morning and then when I want another cup in the afternoon I can make just one. I used to have a Keurig single cup coffee maker and a regular coffee pot and now I just have to have one appliance. I love it.

My husband and I love the new Keurig!! We love the fact you can use the carafe and go back to a regular k-cup in an instant. I am a BIG Keurig supporter!! I love my 2.0 as it brews quickly and very simple to use. I work part time at a retail store and I encourage all the customers to use Keurig and to go online to purchase their products. I think the 2.0 is as simple and fast as it can get to brew a cup of coffee. The only thing I do not like is when I am brewing just water, it takes a long time for the water to dispense. I have to run it several times to get a cup of water but I wouldn't trade my Keurig for anything. This is my 3rd Keurig.
