I bought this when my platinum series Keurig died. This has many more controls and options that I will have to learn. You cannot brew cups larger than 10 oz with K cups. Our 24 oz Tervis Tumblers will not fit (they did on the PLatinum Series).
Pros: Sleek design, Stylish, Very Attractive, Brews quickly
Cons: 24 Oz Tervis Won't Fit, K Cups Brew 10 Oz Max

Owened it for 3 months - STOPPED WORKING

The touch screen stopped working after a couple months use. I have looked everywhere on this site for a email contact or phone number to get help exchanging it. The old unit worked for several years and didn't require "special" kcups. BAD DESIGN.
Pros: Easy to clean
Cons: Loud, Brew Twice For Full Mug, Limited Features
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Keurig coffee maker, (the new 2.0 550 ) but what makes it all work is the excellent support I have received from the company in terms of caring and FIXING any issues you have. Frankly the people you speak to CARE and you never feel you got the "machine treatment!"

Great for everyday use. Quick and easy to use. Large water reservoir reduces the need for frequent fill-ups. Love the ability to change between cup and pot of coffee. Plastic taste was present for first couple of cups but easily removed by running a couple of rounds of hot water. I just wish I could get a bigger cup of coffee when desired.. Otherwise great product.

We have been longtime fans of the Keurig brewers and have had a few different models over the years. We brew a minimum of four pods every morning and sometimes a few more throughout the day, so we were thrilled to hear that this model would brew a small carafe. Okay, so the look is nice, but nothing exceptional to note in terms of differences to the other models. The carafe feature is really nice, but our carafe does just okay at keeping the coffee at a decent temperature. I do have to note though that we are using the carafe that came with the brewer and I just noticed that there is a 'thermal' carafe listed on the Keurig site. Will be redeeming club points for one of those today! Would like to see more carafe pod options. The selection is slowly growing, but is still small. There seems to be quite a lot of really nice functionality to this unit, but many are future features, not yet available for use. Overall, the K550 brews a nice cup. We love the size and strength options. It does clog up more than I recall any of my other units doing so, but it's simple enough to clean. We rate four stars rather than five, only because we are not currently utilizing all of the functionality that this machine promises to someday offer. The single best thing about a Keurig brewer, any model, in our experience, is that if you run into a problem, there is excellent support for the product by the Customer Service representatives. We have always ended any call we've had to make (although fairly limited for the number of years that we have been Keurig owners) with a resolution and pleasant experience.
Pros: Easy to clean, Brews quickly, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Large Pot
Cons: Clogs
