Love it but...

The only reason that I gave this 4 stars is the change in the hot water setting. I used my old Keurig constantly for Hot water (for Hot chocolate, tea, chicken/beef broth). I do not like having to hold down a button (the entire time) to brew only 6oz at a time. I want to brew the amount I want to brew with the push of one button. While my husband and I have found a clever way around this, I don't think that it should be necessary and I think that Keurig needs to make sure this is changed for future models. Overall, I am pleased with my new Keurig

Great product! Love the way you can brew just about anything your family wants and quickly with the large water reservoir feature. We had the mini before and it was good, but this one is excellent!

I would like to be able to brew coffee of my choice. I know the object is the K-cups but I like flavored coffee and sometimes I come across some ground coffee I would like to make in my brewer.

I received my Keurig K550 as a complimentary gift from Keurig for being a great customer. It was a generous offer and I appreciated it. The convenience of being able to brew a single cup/multiple cups of different coffees at a time far outweighs the increased cost of a cup of coffee. I drink 2-3 cups per day, and enjoy the variety offered by Keurig/Green Mountain. Because I am single, the carafe option is not that important to me but is a nice option to have. The cons of the K550 are the noise level and the inability to use any other style of Kcups in the brewer. The "pulse" technology is a bit annoying but tolerable. I love the extra large 80 oz reservoir that allows me to make 8-9 cups of coffee before I have to add water. Overall I am extremely happy with my brewer, and appreciate the fact that Keurig/Green Mountain will send me 2 free boxes of coffee for writing this review. It is the perfect brewer for a home or small office setting.

The only flaw I have found with the new brewers: you cannot brew hot water for tea or cocoa not in a k-cup without standing there holding the button. We also used to use the keurig for warming up my daughters bottle, not its a pain without using an empty cocoa k-cup to "trick" the machine.
