love strong option

I wish Keurig would have informed the consumer ahead of time that the 2.0 brewer uses only k-cups with a white ring or lavender ring. I only use flavored coffee and I had several boxes that I couldn't use with the 2.0. However, I love the "strong" option and the "hot chocolate" option. The Kuerig coffee maker has been a great addition to our kitchen. I get up in the morning and get ready for work. As I am getting a small snack to get started I am brewing a cup of coffee for the drive to work .With this product I am able to make the coffee strong if I like or mild. It just seems that the filter needs changing all the time but I make a cup or 2 every day. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

We wanted a brewer that would withstand everyday use. We bought our first one and had issues with it. The water and coffee smelled and tasted like the pump was burning. K550 Lives up to its promise

We have used this brewer daily for more than six months, without a single problem. The settings for cup size and strength are easy to use and the coffee is just the right temperature. Using the Karaffe mode is easy, but would recommend purchasing the insulated karaffe, as it keeps the brew warmer, longer. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

Half Step

I would only consider the 2.0 series as a half step as it has some fun new features but limits you where older models did not. I was ok not being able to use my own filter but having to hold the button down for only 6oz of hot water is a real pain especially when trying to brew a quick cup of tea. Bottom line though its a nice device but I wouldn't put it a step ahead of any of the other models.

Cons: Needs Cleaned More Often, Limited Features
