The flip top for the water reservoir is very convenient. The machine wroks great, looks good and is easy to use. No issues. A minor annoyance is that you cannot use the older kcups. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this reveiw.

I got this for Christmas and fell in love with it immediately! It's so nice to brew a single cup of coffee any time of day. I really like the variety of coffee, cocoa or tea. Fast cup of Good Coffee!

We use this unit daily and it performs well. We have had to clean the puncture needle frequently though, much more than we ever did with the old style Keurig. It is faster and more quieter than our old unit. Doesn't work with off brand K-Cups.

A Step Backward

Very disappointed that there is no provision for use of inserts like "My K-Cup" allowing me to brew bagged coffee. I bought this K550 after being impressed with the original Keurig machine at my in-laws. I did solve the annoying "hot water only" feature that requires one to keep pushing the button for water to flow and being limited to 6 oz by cutting off the bottom half of a used k-cup, removing the grounds and filter paper and then using this to automatically dispense the desired amount of hot water. The high tech method of preventing use of non Keurig branded coffee would never allow me to recommend this product to a friend. "Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review."

Love my 2.0!

I upgraded from my old Keurig that I had worn out as a Christmas present to myself this past year and I love my 2.0! I have heard people fussing about the fact that you can only use "official" Keurig K-cups, but since I have been a member of a coffee club for years and now Club Keurig that is not a problem for me. I have found you get a better price on the K-cups that way anyway! :-) I enjoy the different settings available on the 2.0 and the display is large and easy to read. The 2.0 is very user friendly as well. The color display options and nightlight on the display and auto on/off are a nice feature. I love the large water reservoir. I do wish that the hot water dispenser was configured a little differently so that it could just dispense at the simple push of a button instead of having to hold it down, but that isn't too big of an issue. It does brew kinda loud but it brews quickly. My old one brewed very slow and was extremely loud not only when it brewed but when the water was pulled from the reservoir. My only complaint is that a few weeks after starting to use the brewer it quit working because the needle was clogged up with coffee grounds. I am the only person who uses the machine and I brew on average 1 cup a day. After 3 weeks of use the needle was clogged up?!? After receiving instructions from Kuerig on how to clean it out it was working fine again. The lady on the phone told me this might happen frequently. I sure hope not because it was a bit of a pain to unclog. (And I might add I never had to do that on my old brewer.) Overall I am very pleased with my investment and will purchase another Keurig again! Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

Can't go back...

I use my keurig daily and love that a single cup can be brewed. Only thing that I wish is that our local coffees kcup could be used on my brewer. As they do not have the right kcup for this pot. I love the flavor of the coffee. I have brewed the same brand both ways, regular coffee pot and in my keurig. The taste of the coffee is much better when I brew with my keurig vs a regular coffee pot. I will never e able to go back to brewing in a regular coffee maker!

Cons: Limited Features, Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Expensive
