Better coffee than previous brewers

Use every day. Drink black coffee. Found a few varieties that I enjoy more with this brewer than old keurig. PLEASE start making recyclable pods!!!!

Cons: Can't Recycle Pods, No Travel Mug Size Yet

Love my Keurig 2.0 K550 Brewing System

I used to brew a pot of coffee in the morning and heat it in the microwave all day long. While this was a much cheaper way to brew coffee the taste was pretty bad. My new Keurig always gives a great cup of coffee at any time quickly. It does cost more to buy the coffee than it used to; however, the taste difference is worth the price., Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

Great Upgrade from Last Series

Purchased the K550 when I gave my older K75 to my mother. Was interested in the new features of the 2.0 system with multiple cup types, carafe brewing, as well as stronger coffee brewing and difference for coffee and tea/cocoa cups. Was a little upset when found out couldn't use the older K-cups in the new brewer but Keurig sent 4 free boxes to make up for the inconvenience which was a help. Looking forward to new K-cup types and auto-sensing brew settings. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review as well.

This is a great product. I received it back in December 2014 as a birthday gift. It brews well. As for cleaning just follow the instructions to clean and you will have no issues. Also you must use K-cups that have the check symbol on the box which states made for all K-cup, Keurig brewers (or you can just purchase from Keurig.com)Without this label on the boxes your K-cup will not work on the 2.0 K550.
Pros: Easy to use, Brews quickly
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN

I am retired and love to have my one cup in the morning. The advantage of this brewing system is that I can make one cup at a time, and vary it each day. Have about 6 different blends of coffee I like, so I alternate each day. Only downside I see for me is that I like hot coffee. I wish brewer made it a little hotter, other than that fantastic coffee system

Things to think about before buying

If you stock up on k-cups when on sale, you may have k-cups that will NOT work in the 2.0. It's an issue that was not advertised, but is programed into the 2.0 to alter you to contact Keurig if your having an issue with the K-cups.... Very frustrating. And since I donated my earlier model I ended up having to purchase a non 2.0 in order to use up my older k-cups... Costly!
Pros: Easy to clean, Night Light, Steamlined Appearance, Stylish, Holds Large Amount Of H2o
Cons: Loud, Can't Set Temp Of Water, Limited Features, Older Kcups Do Not Work
