Worth the upgrade from an older Keurig

I decided to upgrade from my old Keurig brewer. My many reasons for upgrading was the ability to brew carafes. I like the ability to take a carafe with me to my home office and be able to drink several cups of coffee. The brewer works great and brews a carafe in a few minutes. The coffee tastes great. My only complaint was the cheap carafe that Keurig includes with the package. I immediately upgraded to the thermal carafe since I intended on brewing carafes and wanted them to stay warm for a bit. The other thing that I wasn't aware of which is a negative to this machine is the inability to brew none Keurig K-Cups. I only buy my coffee online at Keurig, but I still had some older coffee, tea and hot chocolate that I don't drink that often. I came to find out that the older K-cups, even though they are Keurig K-cups, won't work in this machine. I did make a phone call to Keurig and they provide me with a coupon for two free boxes of coffee. Thanks Keurig, for the free packs, for this review.

The best thing about the Keurig 2.0 is the versatility it provides. I like a bold caffeine coffee in the morning, while my spouse enjoys a half caffeine cup. After that first cup, I switch to decaf. A minor inconvenience with this brewer is the fact that it brews a maximum of 10 ounces for a single cup and my cups are 12 ounces. "Thanks Keurig, for the free packs for this review". Even though Keurig enticed me with free packs, I would have given this review anyway.

This is my third Keurig and favorite brewer yet. It produces a supreme cup of coffee instantly when I want it ,and it does not have a bitter or burned taste whatsoever. It has been durable and dependable like my previous Keurigs. My opinion is based on my integrity without regards to the two free packs of coffee Keurig is giving me in return for writing a review. The perfect cup of coffee with all different size cups. Stays hot, very quiet, brews quickly. Very easy to clean, easy to use. Great for guests, parties or just for yourself, you get the perfect cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or whatever your favorite beverage is. This was a great buy, and I would do it again. We use our keurig 2.0 for morning coffee and on weekends in the afternoon also. It's easy to use, let's us choose FLAVORS we like. Would love if it offered more choices for travel size mugs. Over all love it. When we have company we brew pots of coffee. Very convienent.
