Loved the extra drink size settings. The filter was great for travel needs. Didn't like having to Hold the Hot water button. "Thank, Keurig, for the free packs for this review."

K550: Worth the Price?

The intrigue of the new style and features outweighed the higher costs. "Strong selection" does seem to add more flavor. The reservoir is huge and requires less frequent filling. I am not thrilled over Green Mountain's thinly veiled attempt to literally control what coffee I can or can't use in the brewer as "new technology". Brewer is much noisier than I would have expected for the price. I would have expected greater value for the price with this new generation of brewers.
Pros: Generous Resovoir, Fresh Style
Cons: Loud, Restricted Selection

I did not want a Keurig because I believed I could not get a good cup of coffee from it like a brewed pot. I received this as a Christmas present and it has been great! Even my son, age 22, said "This was the best Christmas present!". We are all enjoying it even my husband who likes the Hot Apple Cider rather than coffee. I haven't even used the Carafe yet - only single cups and I love it! Thanks Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

I use this product everyday and I use it for the hot water function. The hot water function does not work hardly. I have keep doing it for 3 times to get an 6 oz cup. The machine will only accept the new package of kcup which limits the flavors. At first it was the best machine now I wish I could just take it back and I only had it for 2 months.

Cons: Loud, Few Kcup Options, Long Brew Time, Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot

I like the coffee maker overall. My husband drinks a lot of coffe and so we are going through the coffee very fast. We are getting used to the machine, but it is easy to use. The coffe has a different flavor. I may have to try different brands you offer.
