No more trips to the coffee house

We decided to purchase our first Keurig a few months ago and it was the K2.0 K550 series. We brought it through the second-largest TV network in the country which was sold at the same price that a large wholesale warehouse sells it for; the major benefit was that TV network offered flex pay with six months interest free. Since the date of purchase, we have used the unit multiple times on a daily basis and have liked the customization features. • The touch screen and the various functions are highly user friendly. The wallpaper and lights can be changed. The cup size fluid can be adjusted, also one can purchase additional decorative covers to match ones kitchen. • There are a huge variety of assorted K-cups; we have tried over 25 different kinds. The 5 pack samples have been great to sample. There have been three kinds of K-cup brands that we did not favor, which is minimal compared to the varieties. • The unit is simple to operate and the larger water capacity tank means less fill ups. We have used our reverse osmosis water drinking system and not encountered any false out of water errors. • We did encounter a brewing issue with the K-Carafe. It was hit or miss with the unit recognizing the K-Carafe. We contacted customer support and were walked through a few troubleshooting procedures. It was determined that the internal basket may have operational issues and we were sent a replacement. It appears that the issue may be rectified; we no longer encounter the K-Carafe being not system recognizable. • Based on many reviews the major issue was with the K-cup rings and the system not recognizing the older products. Since we were new to Keurig, we have always purchased the newest product with the proper seal. Many individuals did not care for the market dominance and they have devised ways of creativity such as a bypass clip through another coffee distributor. • We would have liked to have seen a built in setting that allows one to increase the water temperature output. To make that product hotter we first heat up water in the cup. The hot water selection feature is cumbersome; one has to depress the button to obtain six ounces of water. Overall, we continue to enjoy our K2.0 K550 and have not had any major issues. It is our belief that if an issue were to arise that the caring customers support team would work with us to resolve any matters. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

A great brewing system...

This is my first Keurig. I have been an owner of many upper end grind and brew systems but being on my own now did need a full coffee pot maker. I purchased the 2.0 because of the flexibility of making a small pot for company. This brewing has performed very well; making a good, hot cup of coffee every time (note you need to follow the direction of brewing water only every 2 cups to keep nozzles clean; had a problem initially but since using a clean cycle there has not been any problems.) I have used Keurig machines before but mostly at customer locations or tradeshows. What I like is that you can set the timer for the pre-heating the water; I like that you can make a cup of coffee to each person's taste with large variety of K-cups that are available. The only negative to date has been that the brewer clogged (but I didn't follow the cleaning recommendations) and that the brewer "appears" flimsy but so far I have not had any issues. Not sure how to write a "Headline"

Well, this is now my 3rd Keurig brewing system (this one replacing a unit that was only a year old). I like that the reservoir is very large and the opening is we designed to make refilling very easy. I also like the power saving features (auto off\on) and the fact that it heats quickly and is ready for use soon after turning it on. The carafe cups are a welcome addition as well. Now the not so great stuff – I'm unhappy that I'm replacing a unit so quickly and only having this one a short time I can obviously not comment on the quality of the machine. I don't like that there's a favorites setting, but it only works for the carafe cups (and even that it seems like I am pressing the same amount of buttons). And lastly, I wish there was a cup size greater than 10 oz available. This one doesn't fill my travel mug and that is what I'm looking for most times. I don't really notice a difference when using the "strong' setting but I guess I'm glad it's there as a feature. Lastly, while I'm glad this model has 'hot water on demand' (the only one with this feature), I don't like how you have to continually hold the button to dispense the water. Why doesn't this work the same way the cup size feature works? But all in all, I am happy with my Keurig and I use it everyday. They changed the way I (and everyone) have the ability to enjoy coffee and for that I'm very thankful. Additionally, "Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review".

I love love love my Keurig, best thing ever made! I love that I can brew a single cup (various sizes) without wasting coffee or money, the Keurig is so great my boyfriend now drinks coffee. I love that there are so many different drink options and I don't have to stick to just one type of coffee. I have a Keurig for my house and one for my ofc. The only downside I have is that the K-cups can get a little expensive (having to buy for two different locations) other than that it's perfect! "Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review".

New Kuerig saves steps!

I find that the water reservoir is great for the amount of water it holds. My wife and I use it every morning. We have it preset to turn on @ 6:00am. We both drink two cups each morning. We have found that the carafe does not keep the coffee warm. Also the packs for the carafe don't make enough coffee since we always use the 10oz size and I guess the cup setting for the carafe uses a 6oz portion. I guess we will have to make a single cup and pour it into the carafe, and if we want it hot we will have to purchase, at additional cost I might add, the carafe that WILL keep the coffee warm. It should have been included in the original coffee maker. Thanks Kuerig, for the free packs for this review.
