I love the fact that every cup is so fresh and that we each of us can have the flavor or strength we like. It's also great when friends are over, some want caffeine and some want decaf. The only thing we have to stay on top of is watching the water well.

Love This New Keruig!

I recently got the new Keurig K550 brewer and I absolutely LOVE it! I got it to replace an older Keurig because I wanted to be able to brew different size cups of coffee, as well as have the option to brew an entire carafe. This brewer does not disappoint! It is stylish, brews fast and I love the option to get hot water from it to make instant grits and oatmeal. It is definitely a keeper! I enjoy my new Keurig K550. It's quick and easy to use, convenient, fits well and looks nice on my counter. There are some limitations however, the instant hot water is a great feature but it only dispenses 6oz at a time and you have to hold the button while it dispenses. Most coffee/teas taste weak when using the 10oz size feature so I have to use the 8oz size or smaller to get the taste I prefer...that's only 1/2 a cup for most people. While I appreciate Keurig wanting the licensing fees from it's k-cup vendors, there are brands that I prefer that make generic k-cups but they don't work in the Keurig 2.0 system. I bought the coffee brewer, I should be able to use whatever k-cup beverage I choose. Overall I like my K550 but I work around the brewer's limitations.

Cons: Hold Button For Hot Water, 10oz Coffee-tea Are Weak, Can't Use Other K-cups, Only 6oz Instant Hotwater

We love this coffee machine. We bought the the thermal carafe and love how it keeps the coffee hot. We like the choice of either a single cup or a pot of coffee. The taste of the coffee surpasses any other type of coffee that we have tried. "Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review."
