hot water limit
on December 23, 2014

Why only 6 oz water limit with 4 oz as another option? Why not 8 oz and 10 oz! Very frustrating and would not have bought if I knew this. Coffee--new K-cups only--brews great and 8 oz and 10 oz options. Go figure.
Pros: Coffee Brews Like Version
Cons: 6 Oz Hot Water Limit
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had two of this model and the same thing happened to both over a two to three week period worked fine at first then simply stopped dispensing both went back bought a Cusinart single serve modle so far so good - I hope Kuerig takes all these returns and figures out what the problems are and corrects them for future models

Feeling tricked

This is an add on to my previous review, when you try to get hot water it gives you about 1/4 cup if that. It does not give you 6 oz of hot water!
Pros: Stylish
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Loud, Long Brew Time, Complicated Controls
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to suggest trying the method to descale your brewer. You can find descaling instructions using white vinegar here: http://krg.bz/1vexESp.

I've always enjoyed coffee from my son's Keurig..older model so they bought me a Keurig 2.0. Have had for one day and it's going back..Cant use other brand k cups as he did in his model Keurig..he meant well but I'll stick with my good ole Capresso. Or maybe he will swap and give me his older model Keurig...I have no problem with that model.
Cons: Loud, Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot

Although the 2.0 only endorses using products with Keurig Brewed logos, we offer a diverse portfolio of nearly 400 different beverages from 60 brands, giving consumers lots of choices – no matter their taste preferences or their budget. And every beverage and brand that was offered for previous Keurig brewers is also available for our Keurig 2.0 Brewing Technology system. We're sure you can find something that fits your taste!

the coffee takes a longer time to brew than the older models THe controls are not as easy to follow as the VUE and the coffee is not as hot as the VUE Overall very sorry that I purchased this new unit
Pros: Large Pot
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Limited Features, HARD TO CLEAN, Long Brew Time
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Walt,
Keurig has set the brew temperature to optimize taste. For K-Cup packs, the brew temperature is set at 193 degrees Fahrenheit. For Vue and K-Carafe packs, the brew temperature is set at 197 degrees Fahrenheit. These settings are the highest of any Keurig brewers.

Do not buy if you like hot coffee

I bought this machine to provide guests with a good cup of coffee along with the ability to dispence hot water for making tea. I am not so concerned with the DRM issues people are gripping about because i only drink one cup a day and bought the machine specifically to use k-cups...but i do not like feeling trapped/forced to use keurig 2.0 k-cups. My main issue is with the temperature of the water and the hot water dispencer. You need to start downing your coffee almost instantly because it comes out to cold. The hot water dispencer was created with a cheap design...it asks you to remove the k-cup each time you try to dispence hot water, even if there is not one inside...just cheap design where they didn't incorporate a detection device for the cup, but they make you lift up the lid and close it each time to get hot water....and the hot water dispences at random ammounts. The ammounts of hot water dispersion have been 3oz, 3oz, 1oz, 1oz, 2oz, 1oz, 1oz, 1oz, 1oz ...and yes i am holding down the brew button...I got 30 days to return it so i will test the hot water more, but i think its a gonner...not going to invest in this expensive applience if it starts faultering after 1 day
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i was very excited when my husband purchased not one, but TWO of these machines this Christmas season. One for me, and one for my parents. I had heard complaints about the limited kcup situation, and it only accepting specific ones, so i SPECIFICALLY purchased a whole bunch of assorted cup flavours, that all had the keurig logo, and STILL got screwed over because some of them don't have the white ring around the label, despite having the keurig logo eg: Donut house cinnimon roll... does not work, but a folgers one will....i spend a lot of money using my Keurig, and am disappointed on the limitations despite my attempt to ensure I could use it. Now I understand why people bought them and returned them. I might as well.
Pros: Stylish, Nice looking machine, Easy to use
Cons: K Cups Not Working
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Disappointed

This brewer was purchased as a gift for my parents and after using it a few times it has become apparent that it was a huge waste of money. Not only can you not use your own coffee in an adapter but the types of cups that can be used is very limited. Nothing more than a money grab in my opinion. Not impressed with the "upgrade"
Cons: Limited Features, Complicated Controls, Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Long Brew Time
