This Is The Cadillac Of Coffee Brewers

I stepped up in a big way going from my old Keurig to this one. It's so cool, it tells you when to add more water, enjoy your cup of coffee, and more! I can brew it strong ( which I love) and the size cup I want. I didn't have this on my old machine, and I like it very much. It also has a replacable water filter in the tank. And... An a led light under the water tank. You can change the color, and even use it as a night light. I can brew coffee, hot chocolate, and even Ice tea. Love it:)

Miss the travel mug size

I love the new design of the brewer, including the color screen, but I miss the travel mug size for the regular K-cups. I see that the Vue cups are coming out to use in this machine and hopefully that will allow the machine to "unlock" this size. Overall, I love it. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

2.0 550 is fun

We wanted this brewer because it had good reviews. It wasn't a high price for a brewer and we got some pods with it. It is fun to operate the touch screen and to set the different colors on the back light and tank. The large water reservoir is good. A little disappointed with the noisy pump and limited features like having to hold the hot water button while dispensing water. Seems like a step back in technology. Overall though, we are happy with it.

Loving my Keurig

I got the Keurig so I could brew a single cup of coffee rather than making a pot just for myself. I got this particular model because of the carafe and the ability to make a larger amount of coffee. I was disappointed that the carafe is not insulated and the coffee gets cold quickly. In shopping around, I found an insulated carafe for about $25. I bout it and I now have hot coffee for up to nearly 3 hours at a time. Shame on you Keurig for not including the insulated carafe with the brewer. It seems useless to have the un-insulated carafe but I guess it's a way for you to increase your profit margin, selling the insulated carafe separately. That said, I love the unit and use it daily. I clean it every week. I find the effort to clean the unit completely to be a bit of a chore, removing about 9 to 10 parts for a thorough cleaning. After the first time I became familiar with how they all fit together and I have accepted the effort to clean it as necessary. I can't help but to think Keurig could simplify the cleaning process somewhat. All things considered I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Had the brewer included the insulated carafe and the cleaning been less complicated, I would easily have given it the full 5 stars. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

My Keurig 2.0 is the first coffee machine that blends form and function. The auto on and off functions are great but should you want an impromptu cup and have to wake the machine, it does take a few for it to warm up. The brew time is reasonable and each cup is as good as the one before it. The variety of cups for the 2.0 makes it impossible to be bored! If you like options...this is a great choice for you! I am very frustrated with this new version The last one I bought only worked for one day. It would not pump any water. I just exchanged it for a new one Yesterday. I also don't like that it does not give you option to Use your own coffee.

I received my Keurig as a gift for Christmas from my husband. I wanted one since I usually only drink on cup of coffee a day. I am the only daily coffee drinker in my home so brewing one cup was difficult. I love my Keurig because it makes brew one cup so easy. I love the 2.0 K550 I got very much. I love that it has a setting for wake up and shut off. I know when I get up in the morning it will be on and preheated so can enjoy a nice hot coffee. I recommend it to all of my family and friends.
