I have had a number of different model Keurigs over the last few years. I was excited to get this model but became disappointed when I realized it would not make a 12oz cup of coffee or must use a K-cup with the loge around the edge, Had some older K cups and was not able to use them in the new machine,
Pros: Brews quickly, Easy to use, Large Pot, Large water reservoir
Cons: Must Use K-cup With Logo, No 12 Oz Size Cup, Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Enjoy the versatility that allows to make a pot of coffee or individual cups. Really great feature when some have to drink decaf and others prefer regular coffee only.
Pros: Brews quickly, Multiple Settings, Large Pot, Easy to use, Stylish

My Con comments are meant to help improve on next generation of products. Larger cup size, ie. 12 oz. would be nice and a selection of coffee matching the K-cups would be great. Still, in all it is a great product
Pros: Easy to use, Large Pot, Multiple Settings, Best Of The Pros Quick, Best Of The Pros Easy, Brews quickly, Stylish
Cons: 10 Oz Single Cup Size, Limited Caraf Selection
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love my Keurig coffee maker. I am officially a coffee drinker, now. I love the multitude of falvors available, and I love that it brews tea, as well. I only wish I could brew a bigger cup, 10oz just isn't enough. ;) Disclosure- "Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review"
Pros: Stylish, Brews quickly, Easy to use
Cons: Small Pot
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Future of Coffee Brewing is Here

We had an aging K10 Mini Plus single-cup brewer - and having earned so many points from buying our K-Cups directly through Keurig, we decided it was time for a serious upgrade. Enter the K550, the Cadillac of K-Cup brewers. It has all the bells and whistles one would expect, and some you wouldn't - the nightlight feature, for example, is quite nice. When your first fire on the K550 in the morning, it takes about 2 minutes for the initial heating of the water - nothing can be brewed until this process is complete. There is a "pre-heat" option that lets you set the brewer to have the water ready during a certain timeframe (say your morning routine), but I find this only shaves a few seconds off that initial heating process. Once it's heated, you're ready to go and you can brew cups practically one-after-another. The coffee quality/taste is excellent and exactly what you'd expect from the folks a Keurig. The water reservoir holds a lot of water, though filling it can be tricky as it wobbles when placed on the counter or in the sink. Haven't knocked it over yet, but I'm sure that'll happen one of these days. ;-) My main complaint about the K550 is how frequently it gets clogged. We've had it 3 months now and it's gotten clogged 4 times. Unclogging isn't difficult (you stick a paper clip into the pins and remove the residue), but it's quite annoying that such a high-end product would require this much servicing. Aside from the clogging, we've been pleased with the K550 and it has been an excellent upgrade from our old system. Full Disclosure: Keurig offered me a couple free K-Cup boxes for my opinion. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review!
Pros: Durable, Multiple Settings, Easy to clean, Brews quickly, Slick Digital Display, Easy to use, Stylish
Cons: Can Only Brew 20 K-cups, Water Heats Slowly, Refilling Water Is Tricky, Clogs Frequently
I would recommend this to a friend!

Didn't like this coffee maker at all. Requires use of special "K-cups" and the machine didn't always read them correctly; wasted a lot of k-cups since large holes were torn into the K-cups allowing coffee grounds in your cup of coffee. I returned this coffee maker to place of purchase and purchased a Cuisnart maker with Keurig techology.
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Have To Use Special K-cup, Wasted K-cups, Didn't Like
