I do love my Keurig

I share my Keurig with my college-aged son, so I do appreciate the ease of use and the choice of beverages. When company is over, it is nice to provide a variety of drinks without having to prepare them all separately. My new Keurig has a large tank, so I like not having to refill it as often. The drinks do come out at a perfect temperature, and the taste has always been good. I do find the cost to be a bit high. I use a coffee press at home as well, since the individual packs, the filters, the descaler, the bottled water....they do add up quickly. I realize the cost is for the convenience, but when time allows, I do use my press to save money. My first Keurig did give out after only about a year. I am hoping this one lasts longer, since it is a welcome addition to our home, and it does get a lot of use. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

After using a Keurig brewer at my office for many years, we decided to purchase a 2.0 K550 for home use. We absolutely love this machine and don't know how we ever lived without it considering my wife and I are major coffee connoisseurs. This is the best purchase we have made in a very long time. I replaced a non-K Cup brewer with the Keurig machine having used my sons Mr Coffee version he brought back from College. Downside was it only held two cups of water so you had to fill it every time you brewed a cup. I love the large water reservoir, brewing convenience and the wide selection of coffees. I did have some non-Keurig cups but found an easy workaround to use them. Being able to select multiple size cups and having the Carafe adds great flexibility for making stronger coffee or brewing tea. I did have a problem after using daily after two months. I called customer service and they directed me to unclog one of the needles using a paperclip. It was simple and I was back in service quickly. So I can vouch for Keurig customer service. I always use bottled water which makes best tasting coffee plus keeps deposits from forming. Bottom line, great machine, flexible, and ready to brew at a moments notice.
