What an upgrade!

I absolutely love the new Keurig 2.0. It is such an upgrade from the other keurigs I've used. I love the fact that this one can make more than one cup of coffee. That really is so convenient. I also love that it came with a water filter. I can't really find a bad thing to say about it. 5 Stars & 2 Thumbs Up!

i have received this product free from Influenster for testing and review purposes and i am IN LOVE!!! xi use a Keurig product almost everyday! since i have got the 2.0 all i do is brag about it! this model is so much easier faster and i love how you can make more then one cup at a time with a carafe. i brew coffee tea to hot chocolate. IM very impressed with the new features and the favor is better then ever!

I received this product free from Influenster for testing and review purposes. This is my first Keurig brewer and I have to say I am loving it! I was able to turn it on and make a quick cup of coffee this morning, in just a few minutes. I love that it includes the carafe which brews 4 cups at once. The one thing that many people are complaining about is that you can't use other brand pods with this model; while that is the case, I'm not too bothered because Keurig still offers a lot of variety. It's the perfect thing for me right now, seeing as I'm about to go back to school in a few days! Looking forward to using this every morning!

I received a K550 from Influenster as part of a product testing campaign, where I get to try and keep the product for free, usually in exchange for honest reactions and opinions. I love this new Keurig 2.0 because, while I loved my old Keurig, when you have a gathering of friends, I often had to dig out my old drip machine and find a filter to brew a pot. Or I was constantly manning the Keurig to make cup after cup. The Good: The Keurig 2.0 allows you to brew a 3-4 cup (depending on size of cup/mug!) carafe of coffee, which is great for gatherings! And, of course, it brews one cup at a time as well. I like the fact that you can select "strong" as a brewing preference, adjust the water amount for your cup size, and the fun factor of changing your water reservoir light color as well as the wall paper on the touch screen. You can also buy accessories such as stickers to change the color of the machine (some panels anyway) to match your decor in your kitchen. The system itself is a nice metallic grey with shiny chrome-looking accents. It comes with a water filter so as to give you fresh, filtered water for your machine, hopefully helping to keep it gunk free! If you are a Starbucks junkie and compare the price of a pod of Starbucks (yes they have Starbucks!) to a single cup of coffee at Starbucks, you will be saving yourself a ton of money on your weekly morning coffee expenditure. The Bad: There is only ONE thing I dislike about the Keurig 2.0 -- you cannot use a my KCup reusable filter with it. I understand why, as the Keurig is to read the pod insert with its computer and therefore perfect the taste of the coffee, but I shudder to think at all those plastic pods (no matter how thin) blowing out of the recycling plant or filling up landfills. Also, while not horribly expensive, it is still much more expensive to buy 12 pods at $8 at my grocery store, making only 12 cups of coffee than it would be to buy a bag or canister of coffee at a similar price and enjoying 4 times that amount. All that plastic waste and a touch more expensive is the only yucky. Older kcup pods may not work with this machine, either, so make sure to buy the new ones.

Cons: No Reusuable Filter

I received the new Keurig 2.0 free from Influenster for testing purposes. I was so excited to put away my Platinum Plus, pull out the new Keurig from it's box, set it up and try it out. I love that it is customizable and versatile. I like having the choice of a single cup for myself or a carafe so I can send some to work with my boyfriend without having to make multiple cups. I like the new design. It's very pleasing to the eye and I absolutely love that it has a filter. I do not love that it does not allow you to use other cups. I have a wide variety of assorted cups based on my taste preferences and cups they only make seasonally. This is a HUGE disappointment to me. I stored my old Keurig but will be pulling it back out so that I can enjoy my old flavors as well. Having 2 Keurig on the counter takes up a lot of space. I hope they change and improve this issue in future Keurigs. If you don't mind using only the specified brands then this Keurig is great. If you want to be able to use generic brands stick to the older Keurigs like the Platinum Plus for now.

Was really excited, but......

I was really excited to try this Keurig, but was greatly disappointed when I found out that my HUGE collection of Kcups would not work in this new machine (it appears I am not the only one with this complaint). Also, I like the hot water feature but not impressed that you have to hold the button down to get it. I do like the touch screen and the Carafe option, I think the 2.0 needs some improvement.

I love that you can program it to make your coffee. I love that it will remember your favorite coffee settings. I love that you can change the light in the water reservoir. It's gorgeous and practical.
