A reduction in features

We only really use a Keurig because of it's convenience. Other than that, the coffee is decent. We upgraded from a Keurig 1.0 machine that allowed 12 oz cups and were bummed when we found out this machine only allows up to 10 oz cups. The carafe was a big selling point for us but the actual amount you're able to brew really only amounts to two good (size) cups. The k-carafe packs are also too expensive and don't yet offer enough variety. The removal of brewing temperature control was puzzling - we previously loved this feature. We do like the reminders that show up on screen about changing filters/descaling. We have even bought a couple Keurig 2.0's as gifts, but again this was only really because of added convenience for the receiver. I have a hard time recommending this product, but if your family likes to brew all kinds of different things (coffee types, apple ciders, etc. ) then it is probably worth it. Overall, if you're upgrading from a 1.0 system you have to decide if the trade in features is worth it to you. If you're deciding to buy a system for the first time, try one out at a friend's house and see if you like it. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

We really like our machine. We don't like the fact that the only k-cups have to be licensed thorugh Keurig. Other than that, machine works, and looks great
Pros: Durable, Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Stylish, Brews quickly
Cons: Can't Use Unofficial Kcup

I received the Keurig 2.0 as a gift so was compelled to try it out despite having resisted the move to quick brew machines. I have been so pleasantly surprised that I would now not do without it. I find the coffee quality and variety available to be excellent and the convenience can not be beaten.
Pros: Brews quickly, Easy to use, Stylish, Multiple Settings
I would recommend this to a friend!

When I can't get out for a latte, I'll brew a single cup of Cafe Verona (Starbucks) set on strong & add frothy milk. Great cold day substitute!

Great Brewer but Need a Few Improvements

The Good: - Brews coffee just as hot and as fast as my B40 Brewer - 4 cup sizes compared to 3 on my last brewer - The "Strong" setting is really nice because I like richer coffee than my wife. - Larger water reservoir than previous brewer The Bad: -DRM limited K-Cups only can be used. You can no longer use 3rd party Kcups in the brewer without some sort of modification. - The place where you set your cup to catch the coffee is not as tall as my previous brewer. I now have to remove the tray for some of my cups, and other cups no longer fit at all because of this. - We had to run a vinegar mix through it when we first got it to remove a nasty plastic taste that we believe was coming from the reservoir container itself. All has been well since that first time. - This brewer appears to splash a whole lot more when you brew a cup of coffee compared to my old brewer. The Ugly: - The included plastic, non-insulated Carafe that is included with the brewer is absolute garbage. You must purchase a separate $29.95 insulated carafe if you want it to actually keep your coffee hot. Extremely frustrating. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.
