I use this daily, so does my 12 year old son. Easy to use. But, it only brews up to a 10 oz. cup and doesn't get as hot as my Vue did, so it cools down quicker. It is a little noisier than my old Vue too. But, overall it makes a good cup of Joe!!
Pros: Brews quickly, Easy to use, Programmable Night Light, Programmable Timer, Stylish
Cons: Only Brew Up To 10 Oz, Not As Hot As My Vue, Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Loud
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice Upgrade over Previous Models

We just upgraded to the Keurig 2.0 K550 by taking advantage of the great deals on that 3-letter shopping network during black Friday. We use it on a daily basis - multiple times a day depending on if our kids are home. Mostly coffees (hot and iced) and some hot chocolate. We have also been using auto-delivery for years. I love the size of the larger reservoir on the 550. This means less refills. I also like the fact that it came with a carafe. My wife and I have a routine on Sunday mornings of reading the paper and having the morning Joe. This made it a little nicer by having the coffee with us and not having to get up and make and wait for more cups. Another big plus was the ability to brew K-cups and make them stronger. This is nice feature allowing me to brew a 10-ounce cup of stronger coffee instead of using less water with the same K-cup. There are a couple of "cons", but nothing earth shattering. The carafe does not keep the coffee very warm since it is made of plastic. I know there is a thermal carafe that can be purchased, but I think for the price of the top-end model, it should have come with the thermal carafe. The plastic one seem very cheap compared to the rest of the product. This one is minor, but after the coffee is done brewing, it seems to drip a lot longer after it says it is done brewing (compared with the previous model). As I said, this is minor. Overall, we are really enjoying the K550 and its new features (carafe, stronger coffee, larger reservoir). And by the way - Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.
Pros: Easy to use, Brews quickly, Large Pot, Easy to clean, Multiple Settings
Cons: Carafe Doesn't Stay Hot

I upgraded to the 550 2 months ago from the older platinum model and I couldn't be happier. The 2.0 is faster, quieter, and more attractive in my kitchen. I love that I can set it to turn on/off at certain times to conserve energy and the option to change the reservoir is a nice touch. I typically only use the single cup K-cups, but my husband and I have used the carafe a handful of times on the weekend and that's a nice option as well. I just wish that it had come with the insulated carafe because the one that comes in the box does not hold the heat at all. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Brews quickly, Easy to clean, Quiet, Large Pot
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot

I purchased the 2.0 to upgrade and have the option of a carafe. The larger water reservoir is a great convenience, and the coffee is wonderful, as usual, although the temperature setting was done away with, as was the 12 oz size which I used a lot. I was very disappointed that you can't use anything but Keurig-brand K-cups. The machine has some type of proprietary K-cup-lock which recognizes non-Keurig brands and won't run them at all. (I have 2 non-Keurig/Green Mountain coffees that I love- and can no longer use). Overall the 2.0 design is better, the carafe is very nice for company, and I am happy with the machine. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.
Pros: Easy to use, Large Water Reservior, Brews quickly, Large Pot, Great coffee
Cons: No 12 Oz Option, Only Uses Keurig Coffee, Limited Features
