Coffee Nirvana Keurig Style

Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review. I do thank you very much, but that is not why I'm writing this review. I can honestly say that your Keurig 2.0 550 is the gateway to coffee nirvana. Every day I look forward to each cup of coffee that is perfectly brewed to my specifications because I can set the brew strength as well as the cup or carafe size. I am very particular about my coffee and Keurig has never been a disappointment in producing the perfect cup at the perfect temperature. The lighting and wallpaper on the new brewer is fun to play around with to set my mood, and when it's finished brewing a cheery "Enjoy!" greets me. I have been through many coffee pots and felt that none of them could deliver the perfect cup of coffee according to my personal specifications. The Keurig 2.0 550 not only does that, but allows others to choose their own perfect settings as well. The carafe is the only draw back. It is not insulated so it doesn't keep the coffee hot. It is better used when multiple people are present to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee

Overall, this is the greatest thing since coffee itself! Only drawbacks are: The carafe doesn't stay hot long at all. Not enough choices for the 'wallpaper' on the display. Only 4 cup sizes, my 'old' brewer had 5. Other than that, I'm very happy with this machine! Works great, easy to use, looks great in any decor! Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

Was disappointed when K-cups I already using would not brew in 2.0. Had to give away a lot of k-cups.

Love the Keurig 550 same no drip no mess great coffee. I purchased the thermal carafe for weekend when hubby and I drink together it is awesome. All our favorite coffee are Keurig licensed so we continue to enjoy great coffee, hot, no mess, no drip, no scorch or burning coffee. Every cup is fresh. I love ordering coffee from Keurig website easy convenient and bargain prices.

Great Replacement

I got the K550 to replace my Platinum B70 model that stopped working. At first I was hesitant to move to the 2.0 system, but I haven't had any problems with my k-cups so far. I do miss the 14oz travel mug size and the ability to set temperature that my Platinum model had. The K550 _seems_ to not keep a reservoir of hot water, but I don't know whether this is really the case. Either wasy it has less downtime in between cups. Love the machine.... only 1 thing.... HATE the Coffee Carafe.... it's worthless and doesn't keep the coffee hot. For the price of the machine..... an insulated coffee carafe should of been included instead of having to pay for the upgraded carafe

I had an older model and upgraded to the Keurig 2.0. I have two - one at work and one at home, because I can't live without my Keurig. I love the ability to have a carafe instead of just a single pot, and I love the intuitive touch panel. The heating up and brewing is a bit louder than the older models, but it's pretty quick so I'm not bothered by it.
