I bought the 2.0 when it first came out for myself to use to drink tea and coffee. It is amazing, so amazing my children now use it as well. The 2.0 is by far the best I have had. It is also a big hit when family comes over. I purchased one for my Godmother and one for my cousin for their birthday and Christmas, they love theirs as well. This product has definitely been a great investment for my family! Thanks, Keurig for the free packs for this review.

Having owned a Keurig Platinmum earlier edition of Brewers, I must say I am disappointed with some of the features and design of this new system 2.0 -It is not a quiet as I thought it would be. During the preheating phase of brewing, the pump seems to make a lot of noise. -I do not like that you have to hold down the hot water button to get just hot water. -I do not like that you can only get 6oz. of hot water at one time. Why isn't the amount of hot water you can get adjustable? For example, if I want to get hot water to mix with my bullion cubes, I need 8oz. -If the machine is "low on water" and wants to be refilled, you cannot shut off the machine until you add more water. I would prefer to add fresh water when I am starting up the brewer for fresh coffee, not adding water when I will not be using it right away. -I find adding water to the tank very awkward and if I am not careful the water does spill all over the place. -The "drip tray" is much smaller than the on my old platinum model. The measuring cup that I used to leave conveniently on the drip tray now doesn't fit. -I am not happy that you have decided to make this line of Keurig Brewers totally proprietary. You can only use K Cups that can be read by the brewer, and you have precluded using "my K Cup" with this brewer. I totally understand why you have done it — control over quality and improvement of your bottom line — but I can't say, as a consumer, that I am happy with your decision. -You have eliminated the 12oz.brew size from choices. -I will continue to use the Keurig Brewer because I love the convenience of it, and it makes a good fresh cup of coffee. I hope in future models you will bring back some of the features on older models.

This was a gift...nice machine, just wish it could use My K cup as I have specialty blends of coffee that is not available in kCups and even thoug some of my Kcups have the logo in them...they still say OOPS...what wrong with this technology.

Hello there, The My K-Cup accessory and other reusable filters are not compatible with Keurig 2.0 Brewing Technology because the brewer has no way of determining what beverage is being used or how much coffee is being added, and therefore cannot adjust to factors such as brew strength and amount of water, which could represent a safety concern. Because of this, the system will not brew unlicensed packs. To ease the transition to 2.0, please call our Customer Service at 866-901-2739 for assistance, they will help you with your boxes with the older technology.

Purchased this unit despite limitations because of widely available workarounds. I ended up returning the brewer because of poor design which causes the needle to become clogged very quickly. Instead of a reliable brewing system Keurig gave customers useless reservoir colors and backlights. Would give it zero stars if I could.
