All my family has them and don't have the 2, they use the refillable pods in the morning with their special coffee and the Keurig pods for the rest of the day! We can't do that with the Keurig 2 550....Very disappointed in that!!! I would not recommend the 2 to my friends, tell them to stay to the cheaper ones! More flexibility, same coffee and them some!
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Brews quickly
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Limited Features, Small Pot, Loud
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I do like the caraffe. I wish it were a bit taller to be able to put a taller cup under. It is slow to pump and brew and the noise while it is brewing can be heard all over the house, waking those trying to sleep in.
Pros: Large Pot, Multiple Settings
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Long Brew Time, Loud, Filter Difficult To Remov, HARD TO CLEAN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I loved my first Keurig and was so excited to upgrade to this brewer system. Have had this brewer 3 months now and it constantly requires maintenance. I am constantly having to put a paper clip up the needle to unclog it. Keurig has even mailed me the maintenance accessory which they recommend you use weekly (a paper clip works better than does), so it's obvious that there are problems with this system. Really wish I wouldnt have given my old Keurig away as this new one is worthless. Don't waste your money people.

Not Very Dependable

I like the way the machine looks, and that it can brew a pot. The machine's biggest issue is consistency: auto on does not occur on schedule; brew level varies, but not necessarily based on need to descale; descaling process is very long and tedious - can run through the machine only 6 oz at t time.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Stylish, Many New Features, Large Pot
Cons: Unable To Brew Older Kcup, Brew Level Not Always As, Frequent Cleaning, Inconsistent Start Times, Long Brew Time, HARD TO CLEAN, Change Filter Often, Hot H2o Only 6 Oz
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For those of you who are having issues with your Keurig all of a sudden just quitting. We have had probably 6+ Keurigs in the last 10 years. Once we learned this little trick things got way better! When you put your k-cup in your brewer, push the cup all the way down until you hear a small pop. This is releasing an air pocket inside the cup that happens when the cups are shipped from the manufacturer to your local store/home. Just like bags of chips pop when you open them in a different altitude from manufacture. When you don't release this air bubble prior to closing the lid, the air can force coffee grounds into the interior mechanism over time causing your brewer to malfunction which we all know how frustrating that can be especially in the wee morning hours resulting in no caffiene. Follow all manufactures suggestions for regular care and cleaning and don't forget pop your k-cup first!
Pros: Durable, Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Brews quickly
Cons: Loud, Limited Features
I would recommend this to a friend!

Limited larger cup size. I had an Cuisinart which gave me additional 12oz & 16oz cup sizes, 12oz being my usual size cup brewed. Coffee isn't as hot from the first sip compared to my Cuisinart, even the V brewing system you could adjust the temp. of the brew. This unit you can't. Between brewing cycles you have to wait usually 30-45 seconds between each cup. Cuisinart was less then 10 seconds. Not very happy with unit as I was hopeing to be.
Pros: Convienent, Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Limited Features, Long Brew Time
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Miss my first brewer!

The new 2.0 system is nice looking and fairly quiet. However, I miss my K75. It lasted me for 4 years, which is longer than most. It also had better cup size options and the hinged lid was much sturdier than the new model. I'm hoping I don't have the problems that several reviewers are having. So far, it is working as described.
