I upgraded from the Vue and the one thing I miss about the Vue is it would do a 18 oz brew. I like how I can use both the Vue and regular style cups, it was so limilted with just the Vue as to the types of beverages you could choose from. Nice feature is the coffee pot. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

Hi K-Momof2, Our Brewer are one of the fastest brewers in the market. Here are the sizes of coffee you can brew for your model K550. You can brew up to 30 oz with the k550, in fact, you will be able to brew different sizes depending on the packs that you insert:
K-Cup: 4 oz. – 10 oz.
Vue: 12 oz. – 16 oz.
K-Carafe: 22 oz. – 30 oz.
Here are some tips on how to get a bigger brew:
Brew a 4-cup carafe using new K-Carafe packs and pour into two 14 oz. travel mugs.
K-Cup: 4 oz. – 10 oz.
Vue: 12 oz. – 16 oz.
K-Carafe: 22 oz. – 30 oz.

Great product with bad clock

My wife and I drink coffee everyday but at different times during the day. Our Keurig provides us with a fresh, hot and consistently good cup of coffee when we want it. The new system seems to provide an even better cup of coffee than our prior Keurig machine. My only issues is that the clock is fast and the options for hot water are greatly limited. The clock gains between one to two minutes every day. Knowing this I look at our stove for the time and correct the clock on the Keurig once a week to make sure its turns on before I get up in the morning. It is also frustrating that this machine only provides 6oz of hot water at a time and having to hold the button during the process adds to the frustration.
Pros: Easy to use, Brews quickly, Good cup of coffee, Large Pot, Multiple Settings, Easy to clean
Cons: Clock Fast, Hot Water Options Limited

Just what we needed

After our last coffee machine broke we decided to get a Keurig system so we would have a better variety of options in the morning instead of the same brew for everyone. It's been a few weeks since we got our Keurig and It was the best decision we made. Now we can all enjoy a different flavor of coffee or tea when we want. We use our brewer with our Keurig travel mugs, so the only real complaint we have is that it needs two brews(8oz & 4oz) to be "filled" which can lead to the coffee having a burnt smell. A single option to fill travel mugs to 12-14oz would be nice. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.
