This is the best we have owned. Very stylish, and can do it all...tea, coffee, and even hot water. Much quieter than the previous top model we owned. Very large water capacity, and the coffee pot idea is terrific with the larger packs. I used my rewards points from Keurig, so I paid half price...but I would still have bought the 550. Thanks for the free boxes of k cups for this review, BTW.

I use this everyday. I love almost everything about it. Coffee tastes good, its quick, easy to use, looks nice, and it is very versatile (brews many sizes and styles). Complaints: I wish I could set the size to whatever I want, no matter what type of cup I have in the machine (k-cup can only brew up to 10 oz). On the strong setting, I can get a 12oz cup of coffee out of a K cup that tastes good, but I have to brew it twice to get the 12oz cup. For example, I have to brew two 6oz or an 8oz and 4oz. That makes the brewer a little less convenient. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

I use this product everyday. It is very easy to use. One thing I really like is that it tells you when the water filter needs to be changed and the coffee maker needs to be cleaned. Be sure to buy the stainless steel carafe to keep your coffee warm!

Great Machine If Used as Intended

The new Keurig 2.0 is a great machine if you know what it can and cannot do. I've read many complaints, but they are unfounded. I, personally, do a bit of research prior to buying any appliance. I don't think it's fair to criticize something when it never promised to do (or not do) something. The biggest complaints about the Keurig 2.0 are the new DRM settings. While I understand the frustration of buyers, it's not as if Keurig didn't advertise this new function. If you don't like it, buy one of the older models of machines. That said, I was disappointed about the new DRM feature, but not for the reasons most people are. My biggest problem with it is that I can no longer brew a simple cup of hot water. Yes, there is a way to do it, but I must stand there and hold a button down. Furthermore, the maximum amount of water is only 6oz. I like to brew a cup or two of hot water for things like oatmeal, hot tea, soups, etc. Having to stand there and hold a button down is a huge step backwards and the only reason it's like that is the DRM. Perhaps, if Keurig is set on keeping DRM, they can implement a separate hot water dispenser on the side of future machines (so it doesn't go through the brew needles, thus keeping the water clean and maintaining the DRM features). I think a large portion of Keurig owners like to use the machine for hot water on-demand. Now that I've got that out of the way, what does the machine do right? A lot. First of all, the 2.0 is a beautiful machine. I like how I can now customize the touchscreen and LED light in the water reservoir. Also, there are new stickers that can be added to the machine to further customize the look and feel to match your space. What about coffee, you ask? The machine brews as well if not better than past machines. Very fast and very quiet. The touchscreen menu is easy to use and navigate, so brewing has never been easier. The coffee itself tastes as you expect.... delicious! If you've brewed and enjoyed Keurig coffee in the past, you'll be more than satisfied with the coffee from the Keurig 2.0. Finally, if you ever have a problem with your machine, don't hesitate to contact Keurig customer support: they are fantastic! One of the best customer support staffs I've ever encountered. Seriously, they won't stop until your problem is remedied. I had a few K-Cup packs lying around that were not 2.0 compatible. I contacted customer support and they immediately emailed a voucher for 2 free boxes (yes, 24 count boxes!) of K-Cups! I never expected that, but wasn't complaining. I feel safe knowing that if I have any questions or concerns about my brewer, Keurig's staff will kindly and promptly assist me. Oh, and one last thing, for submitting this review of my new brewer, Keurig has offered to send me free K-Cups! Wow! Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.
