Needs to heat up after not being used for a while doesn't allow for a reusable filter to brew different blends of coffee locked into K cups too expensive @ .50 - .65 a cup
Pros: Has A Bigger Resorvoir, Has A Big Reservoir, Stylish, Brews quickly, Easy to clean

I was spending too much money going out to get coffee everyday so I decided to purchase the brewer to save money. I like being able to make a single cup or a full caraf (it keeps me from wasting). I wish that my coffee stayed hot longer and that it would give me a consistent cup as far as amount it produces.

My husband's work has a Keurig, and he was always talking about it. My main feature was to adjust my brew strength. This had that feature and way more! I love the hot water on demand. I am also an avid hot tea drinker. Convenient and easy feature. I have large coffee mugs, and I have noticed that if I adjust the brew size on any of the cups, it seems to water down the coffee. I have started using 2 k-cups to full my mug with strong coffee. I have also had some issues buying k-cups at the store. I look for the ones with the Keurig symbol, however, I bring them home and the machine does not read it. Kind of frustrating. The machine looks great, brews quickly, and has a lot of awesome features. We've only had it for about a month, so we are still figuring out the best settings for what we want out of our coffee. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review!

My Keurig 2.0 K550

This is my third k-cup brewer. I had purchased over 300 k-cups this year. When I bought the new 2.0, the k-cups did not work on the new brewer. After buying some replacement k-cups, customer service gave me 8 boxes to help make up for my loss. Goodwill got the two older brewers. Sadly, the older k-cups went into the garbage along with the attachment to brew your own coffee. Even though I used the new k-cups, one k-cup failed. The machine did not read it as the right k-cup. The hot water feature is not as good as the prior one. It is hard to get the exact ounces of water that you want. I will not buy anymore of the caramel coffee, as Keurig charges a sales tax on that flavor. In California, we pay 8.75% sales tax. We do not pay a tax on food unless we eat in a restaurant. The new brewer is also a nice brewer. It makes coffee similar to the older brewers. I do not know how to change the temperature, so I just drink what they give me. Since I have purchased three (3) k-cup brews, I will probabley buy them again and again. All three brewers were the top of the line. "Thanks, Keurig. for the free packs for this review."

Don't Judge Before Buying

I use the coffee system everyday but use the coffee pot when i have company. My friends and family love the taste of the coffee as it has a better taste than a regular coffee marker.I love the 550 and i would recommend buying the system. The 550 is a little louder then i thought it would be but worth buying still..Thanks,Keurig for the free packs for my review.

I love my new brewer

I am very happy with this brewer. WE use it daily in the mornings and some evenings for hot cocoa or late oatmeal. The product is very nice well made and I am much happier with it than the k75 model I had before. I love that it came with the filter and all of the extra k cups. It is easy to clean and easy to use I think more simple than the other models. If I wish to brew a larger cup of coffee I simply run it through twice on strong to the measurements of my cup I'm using. I have read reviews that other users were not happy with not being able to use older k cups or their reusable k cups. But It really doesn't bother me because it never seemed to taste right when I used the reusable ones and if they don't have the new keurig top then you really aren't getting fresh cups anyway so that doesn't effect me at all. I like the taste of the coffee with this brewer and I love the hot water ready option we use it a lot. I love this brewer and I am very glad we upgraded to the 2.0.
