Thanks Keurig for the free packs for this review. I love this updated Keurig. Wish the hot water dispense was more than 6 ounces. Have to use twice for my hot tea beverages. Very stylish. Keep dreaming about what is to come in the future!

Keurig 2.0, new features but necessary

I use this product everyday to make a cup of coffee before I go work, we also use it every few days to make tea or hot chocolate using the hot water feature. The brewer makes coffee fine, similar in performance to my previous Keurig Platinum Plus (I got the 2.0 free from Keurig when my Platinum Plus started having issues). The 2.0 seems louder than my first Keurig, and generally more complicated. Simple button controls have been replaced by a computer screen and you can chose the color of the light that glows in side the water tank (neither are features I feel are necessary). You have to hold down the hot water button the entire time it dispenses water (not for when using Kcups but just when getting hot water), which is annoying, and ours tends not to give out the correct amount of water every time. I have not yet made a carafe of coffee, but believe that is the best feature of this machine and what sets it aside from previous models. In the end I still enjoy the convenience of a Keurig, and for those who want the most current model the 2.0 is right for you, in the end I have a hot, good tasting cup of coffee everyday from my 2.0 Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

I had a VUE that worked/works perfectly well but decided to try this new 2.0 system must admit it has its good points but still not sure about switching from the VUE, as I still have several VUE packs and this does NOT take them or the old K-cups both of which I purchased from Green Mountain/Keurig.
