I loved loved the old platinum maker !!! The 2.0 is so limited to size, temperature, different k cups. I have k cups with the keurig symbol but they still don't work. The filter needs to be Changed often and cleaning as well. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!!!!

Quite disappointed in the Keurig 2.0

I couldn't get the Keurig 2.0 to work very long. I was excited to get the Keurig 2.0. It had a sleek design, and at first it brewed coffee. After several weeks, the brewer stopped working. Took it back to the store, and got another one. This time within a few days, the Keurig stopped working. I called Keurig's customer service, and they instructed me to clean the Keurig with a paperclip. I did as they said, the Keurig worked the next day for 2 Kcups, and then it stopped. I went to clean the Keurig again with the paper clips, and cut my finger on the sharp needles. Needless, to say this coffee pot went back. Very disappointed.
Pros: Stylish
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot

Wow...What a waste...

As an everyday serious coffee addict, I thought it would be great to be able to get a fresh hot cup in seconds when I first woke up, so I bought the 550, stopped and bought several styles of coffee and took it home to find out -- they wouldn't work.. OK - at least it came with some.. Took those back to the store to find out that this MAJOR grocery chain doesn't have the new k-cups -- even though they sell the new machine... O.K. -- called Kuerig and they gave me a few free boxes -- so I ended up going on the website - picking some out and ordering a few more-- they are on the way to the house.. Went to another retailer and purchased some or the right style cups to last until I got the shipment - and had ONE good day with the coffee maker,only to wake up this morning and find that it will not make a single cup -- it wont even dispense a cup of hot water.. I trouble shot it for about an hour to no avail...So its back to the retailer to swap it for another one... I hope they let me trade it for an older model.. What a waste of time and money.

Less than 1 month of ownership

I received this as a Christmas gift, and it replaced an older model that started leaking after a few years of use. Less than a month into using this multiple times a day, about 40 K-cups and 4 carafe's into operation, it has started producing only 1 oz of coffee at a time. Before that, you could brew 4 cups of coffee at the same size selection, and you will never get the same result for output. It's like it spins a wheel to decide how much coffee to actually make for you that day. I'm really disappointed. I expected a much more improved design, not just a touch screen interface. I use filtered water which is then filtered by the Keurig's filter. Less than 1 month cannot be scale build up that quickly. So frustrating and disappointing. Will be seeking a replacement.

I have purchased the Cuisinart because of the 12 oz brew but it finally gave out on new years day. Mad rush to get new one so we bought the 2.0, only to find out the coffee we have is not compatible with the new 2.0 brewer. Tim Hortons a coffee house back in Canada that is selling K-cups. it is the only way to get there coffee in Alaska. We have all 3 Keurig products from the mini, Rivio and love the coffee. We are extremely disappointed with the new 2.0.

I returned my 2.0 for another brand. What sealed the deal was when I received an order of k-cups from Keurig that were actually the old cups and wouldn't work in the 2.0. Very disappointed with Keurig overall. I used to have an automatic monthly reorder of coffee. Since Keurig took over Green Mountain, my monthly order disappeared. When I inquired about it, I received no response. I now buy my coffee elsewhere. The 2.0 seemed very cheaply made. I also was never able to get a full cup of coffee out of it. I can not suggest a 2.0. You're better off with another brand or even buying a 1.0 version!
