Coffee the way I like it!

The stainless steel caraf should come stock with the machine. It keeps the coffee hot whereas, the black plastic caraf which comes with the machine doesn't even keep it warm. Also, need to be able to use all makers of coffee cups.
Pros: Brews quickly, Easy to use
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Small Pot, Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot

I use my Keurig every day. I like the option of making a single cup or a whole pot of coffee and as strong or weak as I want it. Pro's I like mixing the flavored coffee with regular coffee. I absolutely love making new coffees and Iced coffees using my new found Amoretti Crema in many flavors. With this machine I can make pretty much anything. Con's I do wish the coffee came out hotter... gets cold really quick. It would be nice if it offered ways and coffee to make Espresso and a true Latte.

A step in the wrong direction

Previously had the Platinum model of the 1.0 brewer. To me that brewer was superior. The biggst issue is the fact that you cannot brew a full cup of hot water. Also not all k-cup packs will work, only the "sanctioned" ones. Can no longer ge store brand, or use your old ones. It seems that Keurig is trying to monopolize the coffee or tea used. You also need to hold down the button in order to brew the only 6oz of wate. You can no longer just hit the button and walk away for a minute. The hot water issue can be solved by using the top of a k-cup pack. The brewers read the ink around the edges so if you cut the top off of a pack you can use that for brewing a full cup of water. Another issue that I have with the new brewer is that it only will save your "favorite" settings for the carafe. It does not save the single cup settings. I normally brew a 10 oz brew, and now always have to select it. I do like how you can make a stronger cup of coffee. THat is a nice touch. Also it is a little more stylish with the different color lights and the color touch screen. Also like the water filter that comes with it. It is easy to install. Until they actually fix the issues I stated above I would not recommend this to anyone unless you are looking to upgrade from the mini. It has less features and is more restrictive. We love the ease and flexibility we have using our K550 brewing system. It is perfect for our three family members who each prefer different beverages in the morning and the ability to adjust the brewing stength is great! In addition, the carafe works great for our dinner parties. We couldn't be happier with our decision to purchase this dependable Keurig product!

I do enjoy all the cup size options and the awesome collection of beverages. The Carafe is extremely nice, although I wish it was a bit larger and kept the coffee hot longer.

Finally a brewer that works

The brewer is great. This is our fifth 2.0 and we finally got one that works. The cons are the hot water setting, you have to hold the button down. On the 350 and 450 you do not have to hold it down, you can push and walk away. Don't understand why the 550 is different but it is a pain.
