Why would you remove something as important as choice of brewing temp? I think it's safe to assume we all like HOT coffee, not tepid coffee. Why should I have to immediately put my coffee in the microwave after I've JUST BREWED it?! Pretty sure I'll be sending this back... never been so disappointed in a product or company... I haven't even mentioned that I set it up on 12/26. I made one "pot" of the coffee, which brewed nicely, just not very hot. I also tested out the 'hot' water function which also worked. The next day I made a single cup of coffee and it 'trickled' out to about a 6-8 oz. cup when I'd chosen 10 oz. Almost cold. Tried the water feature to make some hot cocoa a little while later and again with the trickle effect! WTH, Keurig?! There is no way you tested this machine with real users! I AM SO DISAPPOINTED!!
Cons: Cheaper Quality, Long Brew Time, Limited Features

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. Please ffind some additional information about our product. Hello, Keurig believes that the optimal temperature for brewing coffee, tea and hot cocoa is 89°C (192° F). This is the internal temperature of the water in your brewer. However, once your coffee, tea or hot cocoa is brewed, the dispensed temperature can vary greatly. In-cup temperature depends on the cup temperature and material. When brewing into an insulated container, such as a foam or paper cup, 82-85°C (180-185°F) in-cup temperature is typically attained. In addition, dispensing into a cold ceramic mug will cool the coffee significantly. Furthermore, You can brew different sizes depending on the pack that you insert: K-Cup: 4 oz. - 6oz. - 8oz. – 10 oz. Vue: 12 oz. – 14 oz. K-Carafe: 22 oz. – 30 oz. Here are some tips on how to get a bigger brew: Brew a 4-cup carafe using new K-Carafe packs and pour into two 14 oz. travel mugs – there are 11 K-Carafe pack varieties and more to be announced in 2015. Try our Vue packs, which come in 50 different varieties and will work with the Keurig 2.0 system. If you have more questions please feel free to call our Consumer Care team at 866-901-2739. We'd be happy to provide more information.

Disappointed with the cup sizes

Have an original Keurig brewer that does travel mug size cups, which I loved due to my long commute to work. The 2.0 only does 4, 8, & 10oz cups which leaves me short of coffee on my long drive every day (very disappointing). The unit looks and feels larger but is stylish and easy to use. Just wish they would have continued with the travel mug size...
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use
Cons: No Travel Mug Size Cup, Long Brew Time

Keurig 2.0

Ok so I used to own a platinum brewer and I was upgraded to a 2.0 not by my will, however I am a happy camper. Now after reading some reviews they are saying you cannot brew your own coffee I went into bed bath and beyond and there is a product that allows you to do so. The temp on the machine is and can be adjusted also when it comes to the water you must hold the button down and not press and release.. I actually enjoy this machine since I was kinda forced into it since my old one went on the fritz. It's actually quite easy to use. I thought I would miss the 12 oz size but now I'm figuring the coffee tastes better on the 10 oz setting and I have yet to have any issues.. Thank you Keurig .... I haven't used the carafe yet I'm actually not interested I like the single cup. The changes are a nice touch as well..
Pros: Stylish, Easy to use, Durable
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot
I would recommend this to a friend!

This pricy cow is the winner of the bad ones. noisy, architecture less appealing than the B7 series, just got a 150 office pro will take regular k cups from other companies and looks like a more heavy dutty one, all previos units dont last but 2 years, hope this one the 150 will best of all is that will take other kcups now that are available. this is not a printer, it is expensive
Pros: More Interation Screen
Cons: Returned To Costco, This Is Not A Printer, At Lease Printers R Cheap, K Cups Limited To 20, Noisy Like A Cow

Bought this as a Christmas present for my husband and myself since he is a coffee drinker and I am a tea drinker and we WERE in love with Keurig.. Sent an email to keurig on 12/29/14 stating our problems and concerns. But I guess since it wasn't positive feedback we have as yet received NO response. ALL the other Keurig's we own (in my home office, in our camper one for travel, and one in my sewing room) work perfect for us. But since I am a herbal tea drinker with many (over 75 flavors) types of tea, I thought the carafe would be perfect to use instead of brewing one cup at a time. WRONG it is made for coffee drinkers and since my husband is a one cup a day drinker it won't work for him either. TOTALLY USLESS. But the main problem is that you cant even use the filter cone available and usable in ALL the previous models. Boxed and returned and TOTALLY DISGUSTED with KEURIG ps Both BUNN and HAMILTON BEACH have k cup machines that work with ALL k cups and filter cones.
Pros: Stylish
Cons: No Temp Setting, Favorites Only Available, Small Pot, Not Very Hot, Limited Features, Cup Sizes Very Minimal, Older K-cups Money Lost, Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Not Made For Tea Drinkers, In Carafe Which Is Small, Loud, Long Brew Time, More Expensive For Less

Horrible Product, Don't waste your money!

I received the K550 as a Christmas gift, thankfully I had the receipt. I really wanted the new 2.0 as I had the platinum version before and loved it. This was the worst piece of junk Keuirg has made!! The major thing for me is that you can't brew a 12oz K-cup size which is what I always used on my platinum version. I would have to brew a 8oz than a 4oz using the same cup?? The other issues I had were I always had grounds in my coffee even after doing a rinse between brews. Also, the bottom needle did not puncture the K-Cups properly causing the hot water to puncture the top of the cup making the hole much bigger making a mess. This is in conjunction with all of the other issues like only using Keuring cups etc. The carafe is a joke nice piece of plastic to keep your coffee nice and cold! Keurig has lost my business. They claim the 550 can brew 10 sizes (false advertising) and in all the commercials the carafe is stainless steel (again false advertising) I retuned this today and was told my the salesperson that I was the the 5th person in 2 days to return their new 2.0. Since I was stupid and threw away my platinum Keuring I purchased the Cuisinart brewing system after doing some research and love it. Keuring, wake up!
