A COMPLETE HONEST OPION!

the keurig brewing systems are the only one I can review I have never used other kind, I have used keurig for years and had most of their brewing systems. i received the 2.0 K550 when I started having trouble with one I had almost a year. the first 2.0 K550 I received I returned because of a heating problem and was very unhappy with the new system and didn't want another one. when I received it I left it sitting on the floor a week before I would open it, I had formed my opinion about the K550 and made up my mind I didn't like it, to my surprise I have found this new brewer to be the best I have had. the coffee is HOT ( I turned on the high altitude button) and no problem, my friend has to put ice in her coffee. I never have to wait for the water to heat it's always hot. the K Carafe is a added bonus and much used when friends drop in. and the water is not some thing you are filling every day. I love my new brewer it's so easy to use look's beautiful in the kitchen and I am looking forward to many years of good service.

Love the clock and timer. I save energy by having the brewer turn itself off late in the evening and turn itself back on early in the morning. It is also quieter than the old brewers. Love the fact I don't have to fill the reservoir so often. Don't worry when it says that it doesn't brew non-2.0 k-cups. Just cut the top off a 2.0 k-cup and tape to the non-2.0 version and you are good to go.

The new 2.0 brewer has easy to use controls. It brews very quickly and all beverages taste great, iced and hot. I specifically like the "strong" option. There are a few things I have notice from previous models. You can not adjust brew temps and many tumblers do not fit due to the lower height. Over all I am very pleased with the performance. I use this product at home and have had Keurig brewers for several years. I replace my VUE brewer with the 2.0 brewer. Overall works well. As far as the 2.0 compatibility of the K-Packs. I always buy directly from Keurig, so for me this is a non issue. Though I disagree with their licensing. Also the quality of their brewer has a lot to be desired, I have had to replace tis brewer 3 times in 3 months. Other than that I use it everyday. "Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review."

We use it for coffee mostly, but also tea, hot chocolate and Ramen Noodles. We love the wide variety of K-Cups for us and guests. Our favorite thing is sharing a pot of coffee on Sunday morning before church.
