HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT

Broke after 1 week of use. Wont pump water. Took it back to the store and exchanged it for the same model. It broke again, wont pump water, for some strange reason we took it back to the store and you guessed it, exchanged it for the exact same model. This morning, which happens to be the day I am writing this review, it broke again, that's right you guessed it again, IT WON'T PUMP WATER. The only PRO to the KEURIG K550 is that it looks good sitting on the counter because that's exactly what it's good for. CONS: wont pump water, Carafe won't keep coffee hot, have to use the 2.0 cups, it's loud. I could go on and on but I am sure you get the point. Bottom Line Up Front: Don't waste your money.

Cons: Expensive, Lasts One Week Then Break, Won't Pump Water, Long Brew Time, Breaks easily, Loud, Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot

I am a first time keurig owner and was hesitant to purchase the machine. I got the 2.0 got it home set it up and hated everything about it. I like having large cups of coffee but could only get 6 oz out of the darn thing couldnt use my own coffee had to use only keurig brand that taste like poo soooo needless to say first time owner for only two hours....boxed it back up in its fancy box and took it back for a refund and will never purchase one of these machines again....oh and had to apologize to my trustworthy coffeemaker i pushed off to the side.
Cons: Limited Features, Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Loud, Long Brew Time
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased the subject brewer. Does not allow all K-cup brands to be used with this brewer. I use bio-degradable K-cups and they cannot be used in this new system. Was ready to purchase it for my son and daughter. Packed it up and returned it.

I don't like this machine at all. It's too loud, limited coffee sizes. I make coffee in the morning on my way to work. I would like to use my travel mug but I can't unless I brew twice (which is crazy). Coffee don't get that hot. This is my second one besides by VUE, won't being buying another one. Unless it's my Vue.

Keurig has set the brew temperature to optimize taste. For K-Cup packs, the brew temperature is set at 193 degrees Fahrenheit. For Vue and K-Carafe packs, the brew temperature is set at 197 degrees Fahrenheit. These settings are the highest of any Keurig brewers. But if you feel the coffee is still not warm enough, please call our Customer Care team at 866-901-2739 and they'd be happy to help fix any possible issues with the brewer.

I recently upgraded to the 2.0 after using a B70 for years. I think the marketing ploy that the new brewer only uses keurig branded k-cups is shameful. I still have about 3 24-pack boxes of kcups that I bought from them that I can no longer use because I disposed of my old machine before realizing this. I guess it's partly my mistake for not paying attention, but hey to me a kcup is a kcup, I didn't read the fine print. I would've returned the new machine in a heartbeat had I not disposed of my old one already.

K-Cups that have a white, gray or lavender outer ring with the Keurig Brewed seal can be used in the 2.0. You can also look for the Keurig Brewed seal and checkmark on the box as well.

Is the 2nd machine we have, we keep one upstairs and the new one in the kitchen now, is amazing and we totally love it. The only thing with the new Machine 2.0 550 model does not take all the k cups unless they are the new ones but that still does not take away how much we love it.
Pros: Easy to use, Easy to clean, Multiple Settings, Durable, Brews quickly, Large Pot
Cons: Cannot Use All Kcups
