Surprize Christmas Gift

I bought the K550 for my husband as his Christmas gift because he loved my K45 at work. Thanks to your points program I was able to give him the best (K550) for a reasonable price. and he loves it. He likes his two cups in the morning and the carafe is the perfect size for his two cups in the morning. He doesn't have to worry about measuring out the coffee, just drop in a Kcup, fills the reservoir, hits the button, and his coffee is ready in minutes. Easy clean-up, and we recycle the cups. When I get home for work, my coffee is ready and then he makes the carafe for himself because he likes two cups in the afternoon. I like a light roast when he prefers a medium to dark roast so it agrees with the both of us.

Cannot wakeup without it

The best brewer I have had and I do not have to worry about how coffee I have to add to it. Single serve is best option to go with and the selections of coffees, teas, and yes Hot chocolate even are numerous to choose from. "Thanks, Keurig, for the free pack for this review".

Great once we got through set up

Initially the set up process was a bit difficult and we received multiple error messages actually set the machine aside for several days and then went back to repeat the process my husband ended up not installing something that was part of the directions and it has worked fine for us since. Overall we love the speed, efficiency and convenience of the machine. Thanks carried for my two free packs of coffee for this review.

Upgraded from previous Vue version!

I use to have a Vue, but needed to replace that as I am a black tea drinker and the product was no longer being made for the vue. I love this new keurig. The only thing that I do not like is that while the tray the cup sits on is very stylish it is hard to keep clean/polished. The Keurig still drips some after it is finished and so you will have little drip marks on it. Other than that there are no complaints and I would highly recommend it.

I replaced my Keurig from 5 years ago with the new 550 to get a bigger capacity machine. I also decided that I liked the new feature with the carafe. I love the machine. Good but...

This is my 3rd Keurig brewer but I must say I am most disappointed with this one. I ordered mine on Thanksgiving 2014 weekend. After 1 week of normal use, it stopped working. It stayed on "preheating" stage and won't continue to heat up the water. Luckily the customer service of Keurig is always great. I got a new replacement but after 3 weeks of use, I can't count how many times my k-cup just burst open while brewing, leaving me with cup of coffee full of ground beans. On these instances, the puncture on top is just too big and rips the kcup cover. Not just that I wasted my k-cups but it's a mess to clean up inside the kcup holder. It takes 2-3 just plain water brew to clear up those nasty ground beans. Although this happens probably 1 out of 10 uses only, for someone like me who has been a Keurig user for years, I expect a better product, even better than it has been. I will read up on reviews for other models, maybe I'll replace it with another one. I still like Keurig brewers and will stay as a customer.

We recently upgraded from our Vue to the 2.0 and I cannot say enough great things about it! The brew is quick and delicious. Not loud. I love that you can use all the size cups because we had quite a few leftover from the Vue. I love now that I get the wide selection of K-cups now. Definitely recommend!!!
