The new design allows it to fit under my cabinet and open it without having to pull it out. I like all the options and features. It seems to be louder than my old one. This is my second one, I bought one that worked once however when I was able to return it and have had no issues with the replacement. I would recommend it.

"Thanks Keurig, for the free packs for this review". This machine does not work with all Vue packs and nowhere does it tell you that. I have boxes and boxes of them and after I gave my Vue machine away I find out that these cups won't work in this machine. Keurig replaced 10 boxes for me but I have at least 25 total so I am stuck, after paying a lot of money for this coffee, unable to use them. I was told on the telephone after 45 minutes of waiting and being transferred that the remained of the Vue cups I had would work in this machine but guess what, THEY DONT!!! They don't have some code on them or something. If I had know this ahead of time I would not have purchased this machine. I would like to be contacted by Keurig, as I don't think I should have to spend another 45 minutes of my time being transferred from one person to the other. I have purchased all of these Vue packs through the Keurig website so they know how many I have purchased and its a lot. This has been a major inconvenience for us.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: Long Brew Time, Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Loud
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our 550 has been put to use daily. We are just about split evenly on the amount of cups and carafes we brew. The 550 has performed flawlessly. I would and have recommended it to other relatives. Thanks Keurig, for the free packs for this review. I would have written it anyway!!

Although it is not The Vue, it is efficient and affordable. Always brews an excellent cup. I do like the color of lighting choices. No drip at end of cup. I like this coffee maker. I bought another one for my Son for Christmas. He adores his.

Our Keurig

weve owned a Keurig since the very beginning . Have seen the product get better everyday. Any issue you had with your Keurig was always resolved. Our Keurig allows use many choices of coffee and now even hot tea or ice tea which I use all the time. I don't have to keep a jug in frig anymore. In the beginning there were issues, but were taken care of. Replacing makers that weren't working properly. We had several K cup makers, a Vue. No questions asked but were replaced. My Keurig has gotten better through the years. Everyday now I have a perfect cup of coffee. It's hot it's full of flavor. We love our Keruig.

LOVE MY 2.0 K550 Keurig

We thought we could never love a Keurig more than our VUE....but when it died (after years of service) we got the 2.0.....and love it even more! We wanted a HOT cup of coffee; it delivers. We wanted a STRONG cup of coffee; it delivers. And...when the needles penetrate the capsules there can be grounds that get into the needles...the 2.0 has a great tutorial on how to clean the needles so the water flows properly. AND it comes with a double walled plastic carafe - but we ordered the double walled stainless steel carafe from the Keurig website. Nice being able to make a pot of 4 cups of coffee. So yes, I would highly recommend this coffee maker.
