I love the new K 2.0 brewer- it offers a wider selection of brew sizes and still brews all of the brands I previously used. The new carafe feature is great when I have family in town, they all love how easy it is to brew coffee for everyone. I also love the larger water reservoir size, don't have to keep refilling. My only concern is there is currently no "my k-cup" that fits this brewer, would love the option to brew my own special coffee that I find from local roasters. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

Coffee doesn't stay hot at all and the carafe doesn't brew to its full capacity of 4-5 cups. I loved the vue much better

Hi Metcedesdarlene, You can try cleaning the water filter so you can brew at full capacity and may i suggest buying our Thermal carafe. To use the water filter, soak and insert the filter cartridge in the bottom of the handle assembly. Simply grasp the handle and insert it into your empty, removable water reservoir. Be sure to push down firmly all the way down to correctly attach the Water Filter to the inside of your removable water reservoir.

Best Brewer yet

Best Brewer yet got this K550 as an under warrantee for my V700 that died on me. This one brews K-Kups, V Packs and large K packs for a pot. Works great so far would say go out get one you will love it. When my Niece saw it she went to get one and she loves it.
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish, Easy to clean, Brews quickly, Large Pot
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot

Best brewer yet. Lots of options. Love the slow brew or fast brew option. Could be just a bit taller. My large travel mug didn't fit unless I tilted the machine. I put it on top of a Keurig drawer and that works great.

Good brewer, miss my travel mug size.

Finally replaced my almost five year old Platinum because it would occasionally not pump without a smack to the side of the brewer. This machine is significantly lighter than the older one, no problems there. It has a much dfferent sound as it brews but it isn't necessarily louder, just different. The only downfall I have found so far is that it does not have a bre size that works for a travel mug. To get my 12oz mug size I have to brew two 6oz brews. It works, it's just not very convenient. I also miss the setting of being able to set the default brew size - this brewer defaults to 8oz each time and it does not seem that you can change that. All in all, so far so good.
Pros: Easy to clean, Easy to use
Cons: Loud, No travel mug size

We use this maker every morning. I love the convenience of being able to get a fresh cup of coffee anytime during the afternoon or with dinner. The brew time seems slower than my earlier Keurig and louder. Wish I could get a larger cup than 10 oz. 12 would be perfect.

Please allow for all k-cups and sizes on all menus, and all older types of k-cups including the ones made for adding your own ground coffee, as I have a lot of older k-cups as well as a lot of ground coffee I need to brew. I also like using the larger (12-16 cup sizes), and think that those should be included in the regular k-cup menu. Thanks Keuric for the free k-cups for this review.

The Keurig 2.0 brewer is the first Keurig brewer to feature Keurig 2.0 Brewing Technology, which enables the brewer to recognize the inserted beverage pack and brew each variety in the way it was intended to be enjoyed. The My K-Cup accessory and other reusable filters are not compatible with Keurig 2.0 Brewing Technology because the brewer has no way of determining what beverage is being used or how much coffee is being added, and therefore cannot adjust to factors such as brew strength and amount of water, which could represent a safety concern. Because of this, the system will not brew unlicensed packs. Please call our Customer Service at 866-901-2739 for assistance, they will help you with your boxes with the older technology.
