First time owning a kering. I was waiting to use up coffee and for my old pot to break down. My husband surprised me for Christmas with the 550.
Pros: Stylish, Large Pot, Durable, Easy to use, Brews quickly, Multiple Settings, Easy to clean
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Older Models Use Off Bran, Cant Use My Own Coffee

Love Keurig 2.0 550 Brewer

This brewer is my first and to me, it's amazing. I make multiple cups of tea a day, even some hot chocolate and apple cider on occasion. (Not much of a coffee fan though I occasionally will make some and turn it into a blended latte.) The hot water setting is sometimes annoying because you will get barely any water the first couple of times each time you want hot water. Otherwise, I love this brewer! It's great! Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.
Pros: Brews quickly, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Brews Tea Great, Easy to use

I am hoping that this machine lasts a long time. I've been through 3 of the older Keurigs in the past 4 years. I use my machine every day and love the single serve capability...I'm not throwing coffee down the drain at the end of the day.

"Thanks Keurig, for the free packs for this review." I have owned a Keurig Coffee maker for 5 years. I recieved this machine as a gift for Christmas. Love this new Keurig it is fast and the coffee is great. It is nice to have the option of brewing a pot or single when I have guests. I would like to be able to brew a 12oz cup for a little lighter coffee. I use the water only button to put the extra 2 oz in my cup. Over all this is a wonderful machine with great versatility.

Cons: No 12 Oz Brew Option

I've been a Keurig fan for a number of years now and was very pleased with my new K550. It does everything I want and more. It's efficient - and looks great on my counter top. (Love the nite lite!) It brews a great cup of coffee, tea, whatever your pleasure. We started out with a smaller Keurig brewer years ago - it has migrated to our camp. The new brewer at home is awesome! I'm spoiled. (I even have the commercial version where I work!)

I hope Keurig keeps making Vue cups!

I bought the 550 because of the carafe option, replacing a two-year old Vue that works perfectly... every time. I had a large supply of Vue cups and continued to use them for a couple of weeks. However, the 550 menu is restricted to 12 oz cups... dumb, that. When I tried my first K-cup the 550 clogged up the back orfice with coffee. After cleaning in out, my next cup was fine. However, on the third cup it clogged again. Enough of that. I'm continuing to order/use Vue cups, but have been disgusted with the inability to run K-cups without cleaning every other time... very frustrating at four in the morning.
Pros: Easy to use, Easy to clean, Large Pot
Cons: Clogs Often With K-cups
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I worried at first that this new coffee system would not know that I like my coffee strong and my husband does not. Nearly every time, the coffee pod selections we make are perfect and if his milder coffee needs a boost, I just touch the "stronger" selection on the screen for me. I have a Keurig at work and a travel Keurig and now this new 2.0 K550, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who loves coffee. I have used the K-carafe coffee twice and have been pleased with that as well. The only negative I see is that the carafe included with the system isn't insulated well and lets the coffee get cold too soon.
Pros: No Guessing Required, Love The Touch Screen, Multiple Settings, Brews quickly, Easy to use, Stylish
Cons: Carafe Doesn't Hold Heat
