I have been a Keurig customer since they launched their first K cup brewer. I then upgraded to the VUE system and was very happy with that machine until the support for it dwindled. I contacted customer support and expressed my concerns and they were very supportive to my issue with the lack of support on the VUE system and convinced me to purchase a K550 2.0 unit (with a nice discount! Great customer service!! Thanks so much!!!) . I must say I really like this machine! It brews very quickly, is much quieter, and has many new features my previous brewer did not have. The tank is also larger than my previous brewer. There are also much more choices of coffee with this machine since it can brew K-cups as well as 2.0 cups and all of the existing VUE cups I had. The touchscreen is larger than the VUE and easier to read and has multiple wallpaper settings. It also has a nightlight feature that is pretty cool. The lights in the tank and screen also change color based on your preferences. Another nice feature is that you can brew a carafe of coffee. This is nice to have around the breakfast table. Overall I think this machine is an improvement over the previous models and I have no reservations about recommending this product to any of my friends and family members.
Pros: Brews quickly, Stylish, Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Durable
I would recommend this to a friend!

3rd Gen. Keurig fan becomes 2.0 hater

Traded up to the 2.0 in September 2014 & gave My mother my beloved K65. Have owned a mini, two 45s, a 65 & now this 2.0. I read the reviews and the hacks before making my decision. i now find there was some vital missing information 1. You must remain with the brewer, holding your finger on the button the entire time, to receive a mere 6 oz. of hot water for tea. 6 OUNCES! Then, often the brewer has to go through its reheating process before you can obtain another 6 ounces. Forget multi-tasking; you're gonna be standing there the entire time wishing you had just put the kettle on... 2. Until calling the company today, my brewer never stayed on when first touching the power button. I ALWAYS have to come back and touch the screen a second time to power it on. It turns on and promptly turns itself back off. After disabling the energy-saver and the auto-off features, it now stays on when I touch it the first time. What is the point of having these features if you can't use them? 3. As mentioned by others, size selection leaves something to be desired, but I read there may be a hack for that. 4. The carafe is plastic, inside and out. would very much prefer a stainless carafe & the site description of the replacement stainless carafe does not indicate whether it is stainless inside or not. I prefer to grind my own choice of coffee and brew fresh each time. I am having more fun using my aero press than I am getting a cup of joe from my Keurig. My second preference is k cups from Marley Coffee. Best coffee I've gotten from any brewer. Epilogue: I'd take my K65 back in a heartbeat, but sadly, my mother gave it away. She thought it was broke and didn't wait for me to troubleshoot it. I cried (quietly, and by myself; you don't guilt your mother).
Cons: Long Brew Time, Limited Features

The only good thing they did was put the on/off switch in front. It is noisy, the coffee isn't as hot and the cup size is limited.
Pros: Easy to use, Onoff Switch In Front, Brews quickly
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Loud, No 12 oz setting
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Raylin, It is perfectly normal for the brewer to make some noise when pumping the water to brew a beverage. But if you feel the noise is too loud, please contact Customer Care at 866-901-2739 so we can learn more about this issue and help you troubleshoot your brewer.

Looking for a better coffee maker my wife and I believe we found it in the K550 brewing system. My wife and I both drink coffee all day and this brewer meets all our demands. From one cup to five cups, strong or mild it fits us perfect. Can't wait for Green Mountain to make more favors for the k-carafe system.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use

I love my new Keurig 2.0. The touch screen is responsive. The coffee is hot. It's nice to have different brew amounts and strengths. The auto-on and off work great. The light in the reservoir is nice. The whole family chuckled and we're glad at how the Keurig is polite when asking for water. I love having hot water immediately at the push of a button. I don't like that I can only get 6oz of hot water at a time. I always want 8-10 oz. I wish I could tap on the touchscreen to tell it how much water I want, then push the button once rather than having to hold it the entire time. Also, I almost didn't switch to the 2.0 because of the inability to use reusable cups. That needs to be rectified quickly! It's quiet except when making a carafe. That process is louder and takes a while. The cheap carafe that came with my brewer isn't worth much. Buy the thermal one. It does great! Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review!
Pros: Durable, Brews quickly, Easy to use, Stylish, Multiple Settings
Cons: Small Pot, Hot Water Function Poor, Can't Use Reusable Cup
