I own two K550s and have had no problems with either one. I can brew K-Cup, Vue style cups, K-mug and carafe size packs all in one brewer giving me tremendous flexibility and beverage choice. All of my favorite brands are "in the system" so I have no concerns like those others have expressed about brand choices. Keurig offers more brand and beverage choice than any other single cup brewer on the planet.
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish, Brews quickly

I brew my husband a "to go" cup every morning and I have to tilt his travel mug or brew into a shorter mug and pour it over which is a pain. I also have two large boxes of K-cups (from Keurig Website) that won't brew in this new machine because they don't have the white ring, which is irritating. On the plus side, the machine looks classy and I love the hot water only feature. It heats up quickly and though I don't use the larger pot often, its handy when we have guests.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Hot Water Only, Stylish
Cons: 10 Oz Is The Largest Cup, Too Low For Tall Mugs, Won't Brew "old" K-cups, Loud, Long Brew Time

There is Good and Bad

I use this product for coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. The things that are great about it are the touch screen feature and the several choices for brewing your coffee. The things that aren't so great about it are having to hold the brew button for hot water (and it only gives 6oz) and the fact you can't buy off brand k-cups anymore.
Pros: Stylish, Touch Screen, Multiple Settings, Easy to use
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN, Holding Button For Water

This was a Christmas gift from my husband. Wish k-cup allowed for 12 oz size without having to run an 8 oz and 4 oz cycles. Easy to use. Used less than 30 days and started acting up by not recognizing any cup in machine. Had to unplug and re-plug to acknowledge cup. Thanks Keurig, for the free packs for this review!

This machine out performs the older model we had. Guests love the "Strong" option you can choose when brewing your coffee. Hot water option is better than older models. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

Worst Keurig EVER! Even if you buy the Keurig brand k cup at the grocery store, it is not guaranteed that it has the right bar code. I hate that you can't adjust the the water temperature. I hate that you can't make anything more than a 10 oz of coffee or get more than 6 oz of water. I hate how it only has a favorite setting on the carafe choices. You have put so many restrictions on this coffee maker, you lost what makes you special.... the freedom of making your perfect individual perfect cup of coffee.... and by the way.... the carafe holds 2 cups of coffee and it doesn't stay warm in that plastic carafe. I have wasted so much money with this machine, it is not the same as any of your previous models. This is my last Keurig model that I will buy and I am secretly hoping will break in the next year like your other models did so I can buy a different brand.
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Small Pot

Hi mom, The My K-Cup accessory and other reusable filters are not compatible with Keurig 2.0 Brewing Technology because the brewer has no way of determining what beverage is being used or how much coffee is being added, and therefore cannot adjust to factors such as brew strength and amount of water, which could represent a safety concern. Because of this, the system will not brew unlicensed packs. To ease the transition to 2.0, please call our Customer Care team at 866-901-2739.
