I was very exciting to purchase the new Keurig 2.0. The coffee maker lasted 3 weeks and the pump stopped working. I returned the machine to Bed Bath and Beyond and purchased an iCoffee. Ihave been a Keurig customer for many years but have found that these machines needed to be replaced annually. I am done with the Keurig brand until they improve and make these expensive machines more durable.
Pros: Large reservoir, Looks good
Cons: Durability, Loud, Cost
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this brewer. Our older one stopped working after 18 months and the people at keurig were very nice and sent me this model. I love it even if it is a little louder. I love that I can make a carafe when we have company or just one cup. My husband and I use it every day and so far so good. Thank you Keurig!
Pros: Multiple Settings, Durable, Large Pot, Brews quickly, Stylish, Easy to use, Easy to clean
Cons: Loud
I would recommend this to a friend!

I would prefer to make 12oz with the regular size kpod, instead of having to purchase the mug size. It would be a waste since I only need two additional oz. Oh well, you can't have everything. I have gotten use to drinking only 10oz. The machine is very convenient and I am glad that I have it. I must agree with some of the other reviewers with the predecessors being slightly better. Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review.
Pros: Brews quickly, Stylish, Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Easy to clean

Holding water button down is annoying

Overall, I like the ease at which this makes coffee but we also drink a lot of tea. On our prior Keurig, you could just lift the lid, put it back down, push the button for water, and then walk off. This one you have to hold the button down the whole time to get 6 oz and then do the whole process again to get 6 more ounces to get a full cup. Very annoying. I used to just put my teabag in the cup, get the process started and walk off so this "new" functionality is a step back in my mind. I also just descaled it and again because you have to hold the button down the whole time to get hot water to pass through it, I had to stand there quite a while to empty the whole water reservoir (twice) plus it is a slow noisy process just to get water. They surely could have found a quieter pump. Not a biggy but just another ding against it. Also, my clock has started advancing so each day, it is a few minutes further along than it should be. So I reset the clock last week and now it is 30 minutes ahead again. I have the 550 and since it is under warranty and the clock is defective, I will contact them for a replacement where I will ask for the 450. It has a smaller reservoir but supposedly you don't have to hold the water button down. It is like my prior version where you just lift and lower the lid then press the button. Their advertising gimmick, "hot water on demand", is on all of them so I think that is a little misleading marketing but the difference is that you can hold the button down to get any amount up to 6 oz where the others you only get 6 oz. For us, we get the full amount twice to fill the cup every time so it is just annoying to hold the button...every afternoon.... at least twice for tea.
Pros: Brews quickly, Easy to use, Easy to clean, Multiple Settings
Because the pump seems to work so sporadically, brewing a cup of coffee can take as much as 3 minutes! This deficiency appeared after just brewing 4 previous cups of coffee on this new brewer!!

I truly wish for a GOOD single cup machine! This is not it!

These are the most ridiculous things! I'm on my third - yes THIRD K550 and the longest any have lasted is 6 months. The most recent replacement has been on my counter for less than 2 weeks but is exhibiting issues already. My first cup this morning took almost 4 minutes to brew - and no that is simple brew time for 10 oz. My first Keurig was the Platinum from 2013. The quality left when they introduced the 2.0. I wish I could find a quality single cup brewer! The only good thing I can say about Keurig is they have excellent customer service. Their products, however, leave much to be desired.
Pros: Can't think of one
Cons: Slow Brew Time, Pain In The Neck, Inconsistant, Not At All Durable, Loud
