Haven't made many carafes full

Instruction booklet states must have dedicated circuit. This was a problem in my new kitchen and is not practical for home use. Most people have moe than one thing in a kitchen on a circuit. Also, I think it is one of the least energy efficient appliances in my kitchen. Wish I had kept my old Keurig

Cons: Pods Are Proprietary, Needs Separate Circuit

I had purchased the equivalent of the K550 at another retailer 2 times, both times the unit stopped working after only a week or two. I ended up purchasing the "real deal" directly from Keurig. The quality is so much better! This machine is holding up great after 3 months of everyday use. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.

Truly the Best Keurig Ever

I have had this Keurig for about two weeks now. It is remarkable! I can make a latte, a mocha or just a plane cup of coffee from several different brands. I am thinking I can do without our regular coffee pot with the added four cup pitcher. You rock Keurig!

I absolutely love this brewer. I bought this as a gift to myself for the holiday's. I replaced an earlier Keurig version that is still working fine, only in my office now. It looks great in our kitchen and my daughter loves changing the color of the lights to fit her mood! Could not be happier with this brewer. We use this product every day, multiple times a day, for uses from coffee....to tea.....to hot water for other purposes. I am very impressed overall with the additions over the Keurig 1.0 Special Edition I upgraded from. My favorite features are the SUPER quiet operation and the "Strong" brew option for coffee. Brewing on strong dramatically enhances flavor and with experimentation I found it added additional enjoyment to both bold coffees and also to light flavored roasts (some of which i found to be too week prior to this setting). I have also experimented with the Carafe packs. My only critique of those is that at the largest setting the coffee is weak unless you are using a bold roast, but this is a minor critique and based a lot on personal preference. I do not mind the lack of an ability to use my own grinds, the purpose of buying a Keurig was to use their pods and make my life easier. The only other downside of the move from the 1.0 Special edition to 2.0 K550 was that the 1.0 brewer lever was much more sturdy. I have to exert more pressure on the K550 handle and (while it has not broken) I feel like it is not as well made as before. I am overall very pleased....and finally Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review. Even with that this opinion is 100% honest!
