I bought one machine and it stopped working properly after 6 weeks. It only brewed a few ounces at a time, left the cup full of grounds and the pod would explode when I lifted the handle. I exchanged it for another machine and the same thing happened again! The second time, the pod exploded so badly it sprayed hot water on myself and my toddler daughter. I have tried reaching out to Keurig support for 22 days and have not gotten a response. I unplugged the machine weeks ago and will not use it again. Very dissapointed in both the product and the customer care.

So disappointed in this machine. Don't waste your money. I enjoy STRONG coffee in the AM and in the PM. I am going back to my regular coffee pot. I can make an entire pot in the same time that this brewer can make a single. Not only that, this machine makes so much noise, it sounds like it is broken.. The coffee is so weak even on the strongest setting. Now onto the Carafe. What is the purpose of this? The 1st day I have the machine, I make a carafe. I pour my 1st cup... WEAK! Pour the second and it is WEAK & COLD! Just not worth it.
Pros: None
Cons: Long Brew Time, Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Ugly Design, Loud, Slowest Brewer Yet

I have my favorite coffe and my perfect formulation bas d on the strength I like. The Keurig K2.0 takes that from me and uses what they think is best. Hello, who's dunking the coffee? You or me.

The hot water only dispenses 6 or 4 oz. My wife has her favorite brand of tea and she likes 10 oz. cups. That means she has to dispense twice to get 10 ounces. I cannot use my favorite coffee that I grind. Although I use K cups most of the time, having to set up another coffee maker is a hassle. My old Keurig would allow use of the basket, this one does not. I would not buy this one again because of these issues. The coffee maker does a good job otherwise. My advice is to read the features and make a decision based on that.
Pros: Large Pot, Easy to use, Multiple Settings
Cons: Hot Water Dispense Size, Cannot Use My Own Coffee

I have used the K550 for a couple months now and I am fairly impressed with it. I bought it so that I could give our old one to our daughter who is off at college now (can you say spoiled). At first I would have preferred to get another of the old one but it would have cost just as much as the 2.0 anyway. The 2.0 is fairly robust and makes very good coffee, as Keurigs are wont to do. It warms up quickly from cold to operating temperature, but seems to take longer to make the coffee now and is a bit noisier too. This may be because I use the "Strong" setting exclusively. The menu is fairly easy to use, but I do have a couple of complaints. (are you listening product designers?) 1. It is a pain, when the system is cold, that you cannot access the menu until the water has reached operating temperature. It is only a minute or two but it is a nuisance. It is also a waste of energy because I just want to turn on the auto-on feature not make a cup of coffee. 2. when I open and close the lid to remove the spent K-cup, the Hot Water function turns on and I have to cancel it or the machine won't turn off automatically. Why does it need to do this? There is a button right on the touchpad to turn it on if I need it. Honestly. Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Brews quickly, Durable, Easy to use
Cons: Loud

We had an original Elite series that broke down so it gave us and excuse to upgrade to the new k550. This machine makes the old one look like a stone age design. lots of options plus an option for the carafe is the best thing ever. I definitely recommend this machine. Next purchase is hopefully a Keurig Kold!!
Pros: Multiple Settings, Large Pot, Easy to use
Cons: Loud

Was excited to get this brewer to replace my platinum brewer which is very old and tired. I really can't say anything nice about this one. It was a total let down. For starters it takes 2-3 times as long to brew a single cup. It takes less time to brew a whole pot with a tridational coffe maker than two cups with this one. After 1 week it stared failing to brew because it wasn't reading the pods correctly. We took it back to the store and dug the old one out of the trash and ordered parts for it. If this doesn't fix it we are going to purchase some other product. We bought the most expensive 2.0 avail and as soon as we opened the box it is obivious the quality just isn't there anymore. Keurig won't be around much longer at that rate.
Pros: Multiple Settings
Cons: Ugly Design, Loud, Complicated Controls, Long Brew Time
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn't brew over 10 oz cups.

I replaced my Vue with a 550 because I wanted the carafe so that I didn't have to disturb my cat when we are curled up in a chair. When I'm not cuddling with the cat I regularly brew 16 oz cups and this one only goes to 10 oz. I have to run through two 8 oz runs to fill my tall cups. So it seems that if you want travel mug size you're out of luck unless you brew a small carafe and pour it into the travel mug. (more dishes to wash) And it doesn't brew as strong a cup as the previous versions. It is my perception that the carafe doesn't keep the coffee warm for long enough. Also, I had some pods from an old K cup and it was a brand/flavor that I couldn't get in the Vue. When I put those pods into the system it told me that they weren't made for the new system. It also seems that if I want hot water I can only get 6 oz and I seem to have to keep my finger on the button to keep it running. I don't see this system as an improvement on the previous systems.
Pros: Brews quickly
Cons: Limited Features, Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
