Very Disappointed!

Just bought a Large box of k-cups. It says K-cup compatible but Keurig 2.0 doesn't recognize it. Now I'm stuck with a big box of coffee that I can't use.... VERY UNHAPPY~~

Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Non-compatible K-cups

Hi Lisa, To ensure you are purchasing the right K-Cup packs for the new Keurig 2.0 system, look for the call-out on the box “For Use in All Keurig K-Cup Brewers.” K-Cup packs with Keurig 2.0 Brewing Technology have the Keurig Brewed logo and circular ring around the outside of the pack. I have loved my original Keurig for years! My husband bought me the newer version with the carafe for Christmas. The carafe is useless! Unless you are going to drink the entire carafe at one time the coffee goes cold! I thought the carafe would be like a themos and keep it warm but it is not. Very disappointed!

I use my brewers throughout the day. The 550 brewer is typical of Keurig brewers in quality an style. Some of the ew digital features are very nice. Returning to the auto-off feature is nice My older Vue will run all day if I forget to turn it off. The hot water feature and carafe are nice improvements. The multi-pack feature is why I bought this. This was a deception. I consider this machine a waste of my hard earned money. I cannot use my wide selection of K-cups or any of my Vue cups, not to mention my refillable cups do not work or fit into this new, expensive brewer. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am that this machine does not remove my need of other brewers as I had expected it to. It was my intention to get rid of my K-cup and Vue brewers, not add another brewer to my already crowded counter. My wife is already wanting to toss me and my coffee pots out the door. I have several boxes of K-cups and Vue cups that this machine rejects. There is no way to override this problem. I cannot recommend this machine. I am truly disappointed and would return this machine in a heartbeat if it wasn't so expensive to return ship. THIS BREWER WAS SUPPOSED TO LIBERATE ME FROM MY OTHER MACHINES AND IT FAILS MISERABLY. PS the carafe does not fit on the drip tray so now I have a extra piece of gear floating around on my counter because of this bad design flaw.

I received the Keurig 2.0 K550, and at first. considering the box was soooo heavy, I thought if I would be able to handle getting it out. But, I did and the packaging was well packed. The brewer is quite heavy, but it also seems very well made. I put it together, used the filter (I have well water), ran the cleansing brew, made a cup of coffee in no time flat. Even sat the clock, auto on-off (love that feature, will be easier on brewer), etc. I am an everyday coffee drinker, about 3 sometimes 4 cups. I know some complain about only using kcups, etc., registered with Keurig, but I found out others (which may be cheaper) have an awful taste. Never had a bad one with Keurigs. I use to brew a pot of 12 cups a day, I had to cut back due to health issues, and Keurig has helped me from the office pro to the mini now the 2.0 K550. I will say I do love the 2.0. GREAT product Keurig. Thank you.

Overall, this is not a bad brewer. My biggest complaint is the 10 oz. size being the largest setting. It does not fill my travel mug like my old brewer. I have to brew once on the 10 oz, then hit it again with the 4 oz (same k-cup). This is really an inconvenience for me.

Newer is not better

Very disappointed in this model! Filter holder cap VERY difficult to remove - broke it when I forced it; NO directions! Can't preset cup size. Not always "instant on" as previous models. Inability to use any K-cup except Keurig cups is a big negative! This is my 4th Keurig - will go back to standard model next time. Newer is not better!

Cons: Can't Perm Set Size, Frequently Has To Prewarm, Only Takes Keurig K-cups

I like how big the letters are. ( on the touch screen) Easy to read early in the morning, just waking up for a fresh cup of coffee! Life is good!!
