the fact that it doesn't work with refillable pods is a big problem for me. I think it should work with all pods and refillable not just the new ones. I was told it would work with the pods I have for my Vue as well but no it doesn't .
Pros: Large Pot, Easy to use, Durable, Brews quickly, Stylish, Easy to clean, Multiple Settings
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot

Great Machine, Minor Drawbacks

We tend to drink more tea than coffee in our home but our visitors are rabid coffee drinkers so the carafe feature is excellent. We own two more machines, an original Keurig and a Vue and have quite a lot of K-Cups and Vue cups on hand but can't use any of the older K-Cups in the new machine. Not fair to us loyal Keurig owners at all. One other drawback is there is a limit of 10 ounces for a single cup. Not nearly big enough. A 12 or 14 ounce cup setting would have been nice. For these reasons we have to keep our older machines. Seems someone in marketing and in design didn't think things through too well. Other than that, it's a great machine!

Cons: Small Single Cup Capacity

There is no temperature setting on this model- be prepared to microwave coffee more than ever before. Non-keurig branded kcups wont work (unless you find the secret) and that goes for those reusable pods for ground coffee. Takes longer to brew than older models and for all the options in the menu there are still a few left out. Wait for the next upgrade to the 2.0

I upgraded to the Keurig 2.0 specifically because of the carafe feature. I would like additional pod options for the coffee - flavors etc. I really like the hot water feature, though I wish it dispensed more than 6 ounces at one time. It has an 80oz reservoir, but doesn't seem to preheat much - I have to wait for preheat each time I choose the 6oz hot water option.

We really like the fact that we can make a single cup for ourselves or make a pot for all of our guests.

Always happy to get up in the morning

I love this brewer for one cup or enough for all my company. I do not like the price of the karafe cups, so therefore I don't use them unless I have company. I also don't like only having to use Keurig brew cups, but that can be gotten around. All in all it's my favorite Keurig machine and I will buy it again when this one dies.
