I bought this for the features, the drawbacks are the same as others have stated with the hot water and coffee not staying hot long in the carafe provided. I resolved the issue with the hot water with a used k-cup and a pair of scissors. The carafe isnt much of an issue because it doesnt really sit long and I heat my cream and sugar in the microwave for 30 seconds anyway. I feel it may be a bit overpriced so wait to find it on sale or maybe a discount on this site. Over all Im satisfied with my purchase.
Pros: Large Pot, Multiple Settings, Brews quickly, Easy to use

Keurig, please send me a notice as soon as you have a new model that can take any K-cup. I have about 12 months left on my 3rd Platinum Keurig, and I use Hamilton Beach in my office and RV until your 2.1+ is introduced with option of using any k-cup. Thank you.

Hi Deb, The My K-Cup accessory and other reusable filters are not compatible with Keurig 2.0 Brewing Technology because the brewer has no way of determining what beverage is being used or how much coffee is being added, and therefore cannot adjust to factors such as brew strength and amount of water, which could represent a safety concern. Because of this, the system will not brew unlicensed packs. To ease the transition to 2.0, please call our Customer Care team at 866-901-2739.

I have 3 Keurig they were gifts but that best one is the 2.0 k550 I love it. And the mini Keurig I put that in my office at work. I just want to say thank you for coming up with such a good system .

I got this as a present on Christmas. My husband tried to set up the filter but it broke. Cheap plastic material. They sent a replacement, but it was interesting how I was told by the lady who assisted me that I don't really need the filter as long as I use water from a "Brita filter". The point is, it's new, and it's supposed to work. I'm very dissapointed that I can't use a reusable pods anymore. I have tons of coffee beans going to waste! Hot water isn't that hot, and all I get are trickles of hot water! Easier to just warm up water in the microwave!!! For the price, this coffee maker is all appearance, but poor quality. I do hope Keurig will come up with a reusable pods for this model!!!

Hi Doris, May suggest cleaning the needle for the problems your having with trickling water. The most common reason that the Keurig 2.0 system will not brew or will brew short cups is a clogged needle. Great while it last this is my third maker k-2.0-550 lasted 1-2 months ,then just quit pumping water followed the online trouble shooters for the third time nothing works , can't send me any other maker I have to keep trying this one I'm willing to take a cheaper one but they say no So in few days I'll try another k.20-550 brewer. We'll see I would recommend Kuerig but not the k.20-550

I bought this for my mother for a Christmas gift who is visually impaired/almost blind. buttons would be better instead of touch screen though for those with limited sight . she likes the hot water option very much! and the ease of 1 cup at a time with help. 12 oz option would be better than just 10oz.

K550 Brewing System

I think the new Keurig 2.0 line is just to prevent counterfeit coffee pods. After owning a Cuisinart kcup brewer, this Kuerig has it all over the Cuisinart, and at a lower price also.

I love my Keurig 2.0 coffee in the morning, tea for afternoon pick up, and anything goes in the evening! What's not to love? ☕️ It is great for my grandkids making their own beverages, soup, oatmeal and serving grandma. During the holidays it was fun changing the light to red. There is NOTHING I don't like about it!
