I absolutely love the new 2.0 K550 series! I just finished setting it up and brewed my first cup. I've had various Keurig machines for the past 4 years and this one is the BEST by far. I love the touch screen, the settings menu, the versatility, and the option of brewing one cup or a carafe. According to other reviews, you can only use the new K-cups. This is true. But coffee does get stale so having K-cups that are 6 months old will probably not taste too good anyway. The new K-cups do not cost any more than the "older" ones and the selection is expansive. Overall, I am exceptionally pleased with my new brewer! Way to go Keurig!! You outdid yourself again! Thank you!

We have had a Keurig for several years, and enjoyed using it. Hubby brought "the new and improved" version home, so we gave the old one to a friend. (She loves it, so did I.) As for the new one, it's not as convienient accessing off/on switch, has a shorter area for cups, can't use my favorites, you have to use their coffees. (They are not my favorite.) Sigh... so much for new and improved, I guess.
Cons: Can't Use Taller Mugs, Can'use Favorite Coffee, Forced To Use Green Mtn, Complicated Controls

Thought this would be a great replacement for my platinum brewer but I was wrong. It's much louder & slower, I can't make a 12oz cup. I can't use older k-cups. Very disappointing!

The first model I purchased could not be fixed even with the customer help due to pouring water all over my counter as the machine wouldn't stop running. This second model has to be returned because the screen is constantly malfunctioning (going white, getting scrambled, etc.) with us having to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work again. It is incredible that this "high end" Keurig 2.0 K550 brewer has had to be returned twice for faulty operation and defects. Then, the customer service says that I have to pay to ship it back to when the machine is under warranty and only a month old! So, I'll be returning the second malfunctioning unit in one month to the store AGAIN. Fix your product Keurig. I like the way the brewer actually brews the coffee... when it actually works.
Pros: When it works, MAKES GREAT COFFEE
Cons: Unreliable, Faulty Design, Defective Screen

Big disappointment

What a bummer, I had a platinum model for years, but it finally died. I expected more from a newer Keurig, not less. My 2.0 gets clogged all the time, has inconsistent performance and I feel like it's just not made well. I didn't get my monies worth. I'm exploring other options.

Cons: It's Not Well Made, Gets Clogged, HARD TO CLEAN, It's Slow

DO NOT BUY THIS BREWER

I am so disappointed in this machine. I spoke to 3 representatives and they all told me I could brew a 12 oz cup using the regular K-cups. I received the machine and it DOES NOT brew 12oz cups. I called and was told it can brew a 12oz if I buy Vue packs. I do not want to buy different brands. The water reserve lid is also extremely flimsy. I can see it breaking very easily. As for their money back guarantee, well apparently you have to pay for shipping. I was told by the first person I spoke to they would send me a label, but when switched to Customer Service I was informed I had to pay for the label. Wow!!! Another person giving me false information. The representative on the phone could hear I was upset and waived the fee, but this is ridiculous. I will not buy another brewer from Keurig. I rather deal with a store.

Keep your older model

Cannnot use older K-Cups. Ran into brewing issues after one day. Trouble Shooting guide is of NO use. Cannot say much for online support; as I have been waiting 24 hrs. for response/assistance. Will take this overthought coffee machine back and will try to find the "ol'reliable" model. Save yourself time, money, and aggravation and wait to see if K-Co. can smell its own coffee and remedy this mess they created.

I had to get a new Keurig because my old one quit working; however the new machine was not as good as the old one. It is very loud and keeps reheating between uses. It does not have a power button like the old one so you have to program it to turn on and off. There is too much programming. I was very disappointed and took it back. I wish they still made the old ones. They were much better!

Cons: Loud, Complicated Controls
