Disappointed

I am very disappointed in the new Keurig 2.0. I brought my old Keurig to work and bought the new one for home. It is so disappointing that I can't use K-Cups that are marked with the "Keurig Brewed" label. They are exactly the same as the old K-Cups! I've had it for three months and I wish I would have returned it a long time ago. I would not recommend this model, but the older models instead.
Cons: Long Brew Time, Loud

n order for Keurig 2.0 to deliver on our promise of the perfect cup or carafe every time, it reads the beverage pack lid to recognize the K-Cup or K-Carafe pack that has been inserted. Because of our promise of simplicity and quality, the system will not brew packs without this technology on the lid.

Longtime Keurig user. This new machine is good but does take longer to brew and my platinum brewed coffee that was hot. Needs another setting.
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish
Cons: Long Brew Time, Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Loud

awful machine

ive only had this 2 months and im ready to throw it in the trash. the coffee in the pot doesn't stay hot it takes 5 minutes to get one cup of coffee. no timer so when I get up I have to wait for it to get hot. ive owned 3 and this is by far the worse one

The only thing we don't like about it, is the plastic carafe does not keep the coffee hot for long. So we will be investing in the steel/metal one.
Pros: Easy to clean, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Easy to use, Large Pot, Brews quickly, Durable

I received mine for my Birthday from my kids and I love it. All keurig cups have fit on mine. At first I was not doing it correct. But now I no not to push it just sit it in and brew..Love mine

Old Keurig Vs. 2.0

I use my new Keurig 2.0 K550 almost every day. It seams a bit strange from my old Keurig because it makes different sounds from my old brewer that I'm not use to hearing. I don't like the fact that you can't use old K-Cups or different manufacturer K-Cups in the new brewer unless they were made for the 2.0 It has a larger reservoir than my old brewer that I'm happy with and supposedly a night light that don't seem to come on when it's supposed to. Other than that it's great.
Pros: Stylish, Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Large Pot
Cons: Unable To Use Old K-cups, Loud

Hi Lee, Thank you for your feedback. I invite you to follow these steps to set the light on your reservoir. You must go to the SETTING MENU:
From the home screen, select the Settings Button.
Use the arrows to scroll through the menu.
APPLY LIGHTING
Choose the color of your WATER RESERVOIR LIGHT and engage NIGHTLIGHT TIMER to provide a warm glow in your kitchen at night.
Use the back button to return to the SETTINGS menu
To exit, press the back button
From the home screen, select the Settings Button.
Use the arrows to scroll through the menu.

We had to get a new coffee pot-Excellent response.This one actually makes an 8 or 10 cup. Spoiled..we love the variety and try them all. It is a little loud, but over quickly, and it could brew a little hotter.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Easy to clean, Stylish, A Fresh Clean Taste No M, Brews quickly
Cons: Loud, Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot
