I recently purchased the Keurig 2.0 and of course had to switch to the newer pods with the ring on the lid. I've used it for less than 3 weeks and already I've had two incidents where the coffee brewed exceptionally slowly. Both times when the brew was complete and I lifted the lid I found the pod had a large amount of grounds on the top and the coffee also had grounds in it. After the second incident I thought perhaps the needles may be clogged. I followed the cleaning instructions, but found no clogs. I did two runs of just hot water and it ran fine. Personally I think it might be the pods and not the coffee maker. That being said I like to brewer and the fact that water needn't be added for each cup. The only other negative, aside from the above mention problem, is it's very noisy when brewing. As long as the slow brew/grounds problem doesn't repeat I'll be very happy with it.
Pros: Simplified Useage, Stylish Appearance
Cons: Brews Only Keurig Pods, Heating Time, Noisy

Quick and simple

I was so excited when I got the tracking information in my email. My new Keurig was on its way! While at the grocery store, I grabbed some caramel macchiato cups in the coffee section. Once the Keurig got here I set up quickly and could not be more excited for my drink, unfortunately it was declined. I didn't understand until I read that if there isn't a "Keurig" logo on the cup it won't work. I used to use these with my mother-in-laws older Keurig all the time so I was sad to hear I couldn't make my macchiato. I tried to be slick and empty a K cup of tea and put in the macchiato and reseal it, but the coffee just exploded everywhere inside the machine. I can only blame myself. So grateful that it is extremely easy to remove the inside parts to clean. I was able to set an automatic time where it turns on and heats up the water so i"ll just get up, grab a K-cup and mug and walk away while it brews and serves. It's been a life saver. Touchscreen lets me select the amount of water to be used, strong, hot chocolate and then just pretty the only button there and ta-da. I'm busy and always on the go, so this has been heaven sent. Now I just have to go on the hunt for the fun flavors that are Keurig approved!
I received this product from Influenster. We love it and use it quite often, however I wish that it also took more than just the K-Cup brand cups as we have some that would be fantastic to use. Now they're just going to waste. I also wish that this would take the eco-friendly metal mesh, refillable cups so that we could reduce our footprint instead of having so much cup garbage.
Pros: Easy to use, Fast, Multiple Settings
Cons: Only Uses Kcup Brand Cups, HARD TO CLEAN

Keurig lost a New Customer

We are in our THIRD 2.0 Keurig coffee maker, and have never been more frustrated just trying to make coffee. We had the correct, NEW, K cups and had to insert and take them out on average of 3 times to get the brewer to work. Numerous calls to the help line, along with a new brewer being shipped to us has left us very dissatisfied with the overall performance of the machine. This morning, we brewed an entire pot of coffee, and loved the feature. Upon trying to brew a SECOND pot of coffee using their K-Carafe pods, (Keurig sent to us for our original troubles) the message center on the machine told us to add more water, and push continue. So we added more water, filled the tank to the fill line, pushed continue......and the system told us to add more water. We are done and on the phone with customer service as I write this note to return all their products. A cup or pot of coffee in the morning should not be this hard. I understand all businesses want to find a way which will differentiate them from their competitors, and I beleive they have. Thanks for starting my day with frustration Keurig.
Pros: Loved It When It Worked
Cons: Didn't Work With New Kcup, Didn't Work Consistently

A poorly designed "upgrade."

My wife and daughter use K-cups-I use teabags. I find this unit a poor "upgrade" from our B-70. The unit is very difficult to fill. The reservoir is awkward to remove, and has a very odd shaped opening, that is difficult to fill in place if you are right handed. The "removable" cup tray is not attached, so you can't put this unit on the same shelf you might have used in the past. There are really no user adjustable settings. You can only use Keurig REGISTERED K-Cups-and they automatically set the amount of water to be dispensed-so much for choosing your own coffee strength. The unit needs to "preheat" every time you touch the button, and the auto on/off features seems kind if useless. (I don't think it is working on my machine.) For anyone wanting to simply dispense hot water. the unit is horrible. It will only dispense up to 6 oz for tea or other uses=and you need to hold the button for the entire 30 seconds the process takes. If you release for a second, the unit then has to cycle, and you will be there for another minute. (I finally learned that by putting the cut off top of a REGISTERED K-cup into the machine, I can get it to automatically dispense 8 oz of hot water and didn't have to stand there). The unit is designed to sell more K-cups while eliminating user options in a unit that is impractical to use.
Pros: Large Pot
Cons: Few User Settings, Hard To Fill, Difficult To Dispense Hot, Long Brew Time, Style Impairs Function, Limited Features, HARD TO CLEAN, Drip Tray Not Supported, Drip Tray Not Attached, Registered K-cups Only

No good..

We have the old version. I bought it over 5 years ago and it's still working. I bought the new 550 just because I liked the idea of the bigger cafe when family comes over and a few other cool features. Came home to brew a cup of my favorite K cup coffee and low and behold it's not compatible. Matter of fact all the K cups I have are not. My mug does not fit ( it's a standard mug and it fits on old one). I have to take off the dripper thing for it to fit. The biggest draw back...you can not use your own ground coffee like the one we have. This coffee machine will be going back to the store and I will be using my old one.
Cons: Limited Features

A waste of money

This is horrible. Everyone in the office has their favorite brands, none of which is Keurig brand k-cups. I now have a useless and expensive coffee brewer, and will find an older one to buy. Also, the oz. reading is off by several ounces.
Cons: Limited Features

Bought the 2.0 with hopes that the carafe would eliminate having to make multiple K-cups, but the carafe provided does not keep coffee hot for long, and the machine is very picky about what K-cups it will brew. Even if it says Keurig on it, don't assume it will brew on this machine. We see OOPS not a genuine Keurig product more often than we should. Overall we are disappointed with the 2.0.
