Amazing Upgrade

I love the new, updated keurig because it all digital. Keurig has made some great updates such as the digital screen, options for brewing hot chocolate, or strong coffee, ounces, etc. I love that you can change the color of the wallpaper on the screen and also the water container. I appreciate that although this may seem simple and nonessential, it is a nice update nonetheless--you now do not have to take the lid off the water reservoir entirely to fill it up. You can lift the lid and pour water in to it that way. I also appreciate that the machine will let you know when it needs to be de-scaled or the water filter needs replaced. The taste of fresh brewed coffee is the same as it has always been-wonderful. Thanks to influenster and keurig for the opportunity to experience this awesome product!

Great Potential

This is a great coffee brewer. I WOULD love this if it did not only work with the Keurig brand K-cups. They monopolized this Keurig machine by making it absolutely only compatible with the Keuring K-cups, which are almost always more pricey than other brands. They are forcing you to buy the Keurig brand K-cups when you buy this machine. The coffee machine itself is great, I just wish you could use whatever cup you want with it. I received this product free from Influenster for testing and review purposes.

Easy, fast, & multiple cups of coffee

I received the Keurig 2.0 free from Influenster for testing and reviewing purposes, and this is my first Keurig machine. It's large touchscreen is easy to use. The taste that Keurig provides is out of this world - I never knew what I was missing out on! Complex, bold flavors come from this machine. The carafe option is what sold me though - I need to be able to brew multiple cups of coffee and the Keurig 2.0 provides this option. There are only a few things I did not like - one is that you cannot use the mesh coffee cup, this machine only reads Keurig brand K-cups, and reads their lid - so no off-brand, either. It does make some weird noises as the water goes through the cup - gurgling and squeezing noises. Otherwise, this is a great machine, and I would highly recommend this machine to anyone.
Pros: Easy to use, Smooth Taste, Multiple Cups Of Coffee, Great taste
Cons: No Mesh Filter Usage, Weird Noises

So many features the original lacked!

I received the 2.0 through influenster. I love that it has a hot water feature, that you can brew a whole carafe instead of just a cup, and the touch screen! There are so many little features that make this a wonderful system as well. You have different setting selections for the strength of the coffee you prefer along with a hot cocoa and etc setting. Being able to set the color of the LED in your water reservoir, and the background to your touchscreen doesn't affect the taste of the coffee but it sure adds to the coolness factor :)

Good, but not great

I received this for free from Influenster, and while it is amazing, there are some problems with it. Obviously, it works much the same as any Keurig, and it makes amazing coffee. The fact that it makes a carafe is a great addition, as is the ability to dispense 6 oz of hot water without having to open and close the lid like you had to on previous systems. My main frustration is that it reads the lid and will not allow you to use non-Keurig approved coffees, and it reads that they want you to have the "best coffee possible". While this is all well and good, if I had bought this system myself, I'd be frustrated that I paid $200 to be told what kind of coffee I can drink. You also can't use those reusable k-cups with this. I was excited to brew tea with it, but I guess I'll just use the hot water dispensing option. Aesthetically, it's a beautiful machine, a little cumbersome, but for what it does, worth the counter space. The screen is nice too, but the clock has a tendency to jump ahead 10 minutes or so a day. Overall, great for making certain coffees, but has a lot of limitations.

Cons: Can't Use The Custom Cups, Need To Use Keurig Cups

Improved Keurig Worth the Upgrade

Loving my new Keurig 2.0. It's easy to use and love the option of brewing one cup or more of coffee. It's the perfect addition to our kitchen and our guests love it as much as we do! Received one from Influencer for review purposes.

I received the Keurig 2 K550 free from Influenster to test and review. The product is well packaged, it has a classy look. But the mechanism is complicated and the water jar very difficult to pull apart. Otherwise its a great addition to kitchen appliances.
