Simple. Fast. Delicious.

This machine practically worked right out of the box with the only "installation" being to place the water compartment on the machine and the drip plate underneath. It was so easy to set up I found myself reading the instructions several times over to make sure that was it, and it was. The machine is even easier to actually use. Place the cup, select the size of the drink you want, push the button and let it go. That's it. You can even get plain old hot water from this thing, which brews so fast it's actually more convenient than microwaving or boiling hot water in a kettle. It does make a bit of noise while brewing, but you nothing that would make you think the machine is malfunctioning or that would wake people up if you have set up the auto-brew feature. The few complaints I have about this machine is the fact that it's pretty much touch screen only. Call me paranoid but I worry about not having any back up buttons should the touch screen fail or malfunction. It would also be nice for the machine to have some sort of built in water filter because it takes about half a gallon minimum for the first fill carafe line and that's a lot of distilled water at extra cost to go through if you're drinking a lot of coffee on a daily basis. Other than that, I really love this machine. I also wish there were an even stronger brew selection, even set to "strong" some of the cups just aren't up to snuff for me. Other than that I think this is a great machine to have. It's simple, it's fast, it's convenient and with the selection of cups available, you're sure to find at least one thing you like. **Disclaimer: I received this machine free for testing and reviewing purposes from from influenster.
Pros: Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Not Bitter, Pleasing Aroma, Smooth Taste
Cons: Not Enough Flavor, Need Stronger Brew Option

a worthy upgrade

I received the K550 free for review purposes from influenster. I already own (and love) an older keurig. The new keurig 2.0 WILL NOT ACCEPT CERTAIN K-CUPS. This made me sad. These include older K-cups that although they do have the Keurig logo, they do not have the white ring around the top of the lid. Also, I have some decaf san francisco bay k-cups which do NOT have the Keurig logo and therefore will not work. On the plus side, I emailed customer service and they promptly sent me a coupon for two free boxes. So, I was happy again. Also, if you check you tube, there are work arounds to help you use up your "old" k-cups. That being said I LOVE the carafe feature. I had a few friends over this morning for coffee and easily brewed a carafe rather than 4 individual cups. Another thing I appreciate probably more than I should is that the way the 2.0 opens allows it to fit under my upper cabinets much better than the older one did. Hey it's the little things in life that make me happy.

I seriously love my keurig. I did not really care for coffee before keurig but now I can't wait to make one. I am a college student and it has definitely kept me awake without the hassle.
Pros: Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Very Quick And On The Go, Smooth Taste, Balanced Acidity, Not Bitter, Pleasing Aroma, Pleasing Roast, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor
Cons: K-cups Are Not Cheap

Love this soooo much! During holidays I would always have to keep my old coffee maker around for large pots - not any more!! The color/touch screen is easy to use. Same great consistent brew I enjoyed with my old Keurig. I was given the 2.0 to test, and the same day I packed up my old Keurig and gave it to my sister.
Pros: Not Bitter, Pleasing Roast, Pleasing Aroma, Carafe Is A Great Plus, Balanced Acidity, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Easy to use, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Smooth Taste

Great for college

I love the size of it because it is small enough to fit on my kitchen counter in my college apartment. I don't like how I need to buy new cups though and there aren't many flavors available. You can't use reusable pods for this, but that's fine with me because I don't use them anyways. Love how my cup of coffee is easily made and all the fun features (ie. changing the water color)
Cons: Not Enough Flavor

Upgraded to a Keurig 2.0

I received the product free from Influenster to review and I love it. It looks more modern than my normal Keurig, has a new touchscreen, the night light can be changed to a color that fits your mood, and finally a carafe where you can serve more than one person. Some of the features on this are unnecessary like the color changing reservoir, and the wallpaper on the touchscreen. Some of the pieces feel plastic-y. It looks stainless on some of the parts, but is a fingerprinted catching every print and smudge with the slightest touch. Also the filter lock, is a bit cheap and plastic like where it broke when I was trying to put the filter in when I got it. I use this everyday for coffee in the morning and afternoon and find myself drinking more coffee since getting this brewer. I do like the colors of the reservoir, it wasn't totally necessary but it is a cool feature. The touchscreen is nice but there are times when I'm not sure if I'm hitting the touchscreen or the Keurig button to make it brew. The other issue is that you can't use old Keurig k-cups, only the newer cups with the logo around the top edge. I am happy I was given a chance to try this for free, and I'm really enjoying this Hello keurig brewer.
Pros: Touchscreen Features, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body, Balanced Acidity, Can Make Multiple Cups, Smooth Taste, Love The New Features
Cons: No Temperature, Not The Hottest, Plasticy, Fingerprinter

For those who want more than one cup

I received this for testing purposes from Influenster and I love it! I am always a more than one cup kind of girl. With the carafe I can brew multiple cups at once and get the same delicious coffee to have a cup at home and fill my tumbler before I run out the door to work. The new touch screen works so well! It's about time there was a coffee machine for the 21st century.
Pros: Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Not Bitter, Pleasing Aroma, Pleasing Roast, Smooth Taste

Enjoyable and Exactly As Advertised

I have had a few Keurig machines in the past, and this is by far the most sleek and attractive. I found the set up generally to be very simple. I like the touch screen design and ability to customize like wallpaper choices. I like that it has a built in filter, however, I can speak to how well it works because I couldn't figure out how to take the piece apart that you are supposed to insert the filter into. I love the idea of being able to make 4 cups at one time. That's really nice for entertaining, and I imagine price for cup it will be less expensive. I would love to see Keurig offer a non-plastic, insulated carafe, or at least one that is dishwasher safe. I really enjoyed the coffee brewed by the keurig. It was perfectly brewed, piping hot, and the quality I have come to expect from Keurig. I think it should be more clearly advertised that this will ONLY work with specially marked Kcups and not the generic ones or the reusable ones at this time. This may be a turnoff for some buyers. I received the Keurig 2.0 through Influenster free for my review.
